The long-awaited cd Movin’ On by Dutch/Jamaican songstress Corey finally sees the light of day. Movin’ On is full of inspirational, heartfelt street soul music - flavored with jazz, funk, hip-hop, r&b, gospel and a dash of latin.

The beat-heavy but organic tracks laid down by main producer (expired link) (remixes for Michael Franti, The Proov, Nas (expired link).) and guest producers Ulti-mo' and Patrick Mijnals form the perfect basis on which Corey sings her self-written tales about life, love, faith, joy and adversity. Movin’ On covers a variety of moods, sounds, influences and topics and is based on personal expression and real-life emotions, instead of on cheap gimmicks, trendy pop-styling or over-used sampled loops.
