Song Reviews
Local band at the beginning of the dream....
As always I type while listening. In the intro I'm listening to EQ...too much lowend...it could use a better balanced mix...The song is better than the recording. Hi-hat rhythm seems off...does not need to be exactly on grid, but a too messy timing or mix does not make it better. I would think the performers are beginners performing in local pubs. Tip: try to do less, but what you do less, do it better...sometimes less is more. Check for each part...are the lyrics too much, could the timing of the hi-hats be more tight...are background synth noises too chaotic and not in sync with the song...I like the parts with less part, lowend that are to the point. Added electric guitar is fine. But synth sound background needs to be functional...it's not. Enjoy your music, enjoy your performances...try to have the timing better...(and remember...I'm just an amateur myself recording with Cubase...)

Cinematic Feeling
"No Music No Hope" by Cozmicsoulfire presents an intriguing idea that without music, there's no hope. The song delivers a cinematic feel, reminiscent of an action movie soundtrack. The arrangement is solid, but the mixing could be more powerful and gritty to avoid sounding too clean and sterile. The vocals show good effort, though the female singer's voice doesn't quite fit the rock genre. Additionally, replacing the vocoder chorus in the middle with a real chorus could enhance the song's overall impact. While it's a creative track, there is room for improvement to truly capture the intended emotion and energy.
