What a great classic Blues sound! The production on this is well done and the vocal tone is easy on the ears. Not exactly what I call a Blues voice but none the less an asset to a very good song. Great guitar and sound round this off and make it worth listening to a second time!

Cozy Corley and the Blues Gardenia Funk Band hail from Mississippi/ Louisiana area of the USA and man it shows on this Blues cut. A familiar loping Bass line and sparkling, sympathetic Lead Guitar, usher in a typical down home groove over which Cozy tells his tale about a woman who was jilted by her lover and remains bitter and alone. Cozy urges her not to shut the door on love, but let HIM in instead! Fairly typical Southern Soul lyrics but sung convincingly with a rich, authentic, Blues voice. Not unlike many other similar songs, but I could listen to this stuff all day long! Wonderful groove and musicianship. Only quibble is that there is too much delay on the vocal but maybe it's just me. Bet they are killer live!

Cozy Corley and crew are putting out some beautiful classic blues sounds. The electric guitar is ever present and connects back to those down-home bbq joints where the food is good and you can dance to the music. Cozy is very consistent with his vocals which makes the song catchy.

Great Blues voice and very competent guitar playing. Shutting the door on love and not letting him in seems rather unkind but that is what singing the blues is all about. He wants to be her man but she has probably found somebody with more confidence and self-worth. Big deal. Plenty more fish in the sea. The only drawback is that this song sound like about a thousand others. Nothing wrong with that but I do not think that it will set the world on fire, despite being a pleasant listen.

The music had great sounds and tones that really grabbed my attention. Vocals were on point and complimented the music and style. I really enjoyed it a lot. Just wanted to give you a little feedback didn’t have anything negative to say about it at all. Thanks for your time

I love a good R&B, Blues vibe. I get a sense of B.B. King and Little Richard when I hear this song. I always enjoy songs like this and I love the lyrics because I feel you are really speaking to the listeners who have shut the door to love, and you are right, don't give up on love and don't shut the door on it. Everything about this song I enjoy and I can't wait to hear more music from you in the near future!!! Awesome job!!!!
