My roots go back to the blues and early rock. As a kid I was determined to play in a band and did so for 15 years. Then I discovered the solo route. I could play more gigs in more places and be carrying much less equipment. I've played for many years with the guitar, harmonica and tambourine strapped to me playing my songs on my small P.A.. Since I no longer play on bands I miss what other instrumentation and harmonization can do to a song. That's why I'm constantly in the studio laying down tracks on instruments and vocals. I've recorded over 200 originals and have over 200 more to record, not counting the new songs I've written for my next album.
