About Cristina Vera Diaz

Lyric-soprano singer, musicologist and teacher. Born in Asuncion - Paraguay, currently he resides in Milan. He began studying music, music theory and piano at the Paraguayan Ateneo, then in the School of Music of the Faculty of Humanities and Arts in Rosario Argentina, later in Buenos Aires, the Conservatory "Juan Jose Castro". Scholarship holder by the Italian government in 2000. Make higher education in opera singing at the University of Pavía- Institute Vittadini. Musicology at the Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi and Assembly of Lyric Opera at the Academy of La Scala of Milan and Academia Mestiere dello Spettacolo. His teachers: Naomi Souza, Ernst Haefliger (1919-2007), Gabriella Ravazzi, Raina Kawaivanska and Roman Franceschetto. He sang operatic roles in the Mancinelli Theater in Orvietto , Riva Gardone Vittoriale Theater and Opera Theater of Brescia in the Scuola Napoletana: Scarlatti, Pergolesi and Salieri. He sang arias in Gran Gala International's Basilica with Ambrogio Maestri Broni, baritone of Teatro alla Scala, production "Falstaff" - Ricardo Mutti. He sang in concerts with orchestra Pergolesi's Stabat Mater, and St. Matthew Passion by JS Bach. With the Orchestra of Camera of Pavia, Vivaldi and Mozart. Concert arias of Bell Canto for Circolo Pavia Lirica, recorded by the RAI. Gets the "Luigi Giulotto" Comune of Pavia 2004 award. First prize in the IV Competition Porana Lyric city Casteggio, Lombardy region. It has a recorded CD "Taras Piano" by Seal Stradivarius with works of composer Angelo J. Romani pavese. Another CD, "Ne rendape royu- Jose Asuncion Flores" for voice and piano with the Italian master Paolo Marzocchi, recorded in the Auditorium Alessandro VII of Siena, Italy. He has produced numerous concerts and operas assembly, such as "The Magic Flute", "La Serva Padrona" and in 2009-2010 the opera "Il Guarany" in leading role.
ProMusica president of the Foundation Paraguay, creates Guarani Rekavo Association based in Milan, it has created the "First International Competition of Guarania Symphony".
She currently teaches courses and master concerts in Paraguay, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, United States, India, Cyprus, Spain, Switzerland, Holland, Germany, Italy.
He was selected to represent the Republic of Paraguay in the "World Master Korea 2011" in the category of music, along with other representatives in the areas of art and typical meals.
