James Anthony Jampo
Composer Guitarist Pianist Songwriter VocalistJames Anthony Jampo started composing music in the 1990's with long time band mate,producer, and recording artist, Ben Chew. Performing and writing with Ben, and playing some live acoustic shows in New Hope, Sellersville, and Philadelphia areas of Pennsylvania, USA. He also collaborated with Mark Ling, the lead electric guitar man from Florida, who James eventually brought into the ROSE recording studios, Sellersville, Pennsylvania, to help record on several of the tracks for the band's 2000 Second Taste (doubleCD) album. James actually started playing the acoustic guitar at age nine. He has been influenced by the soft-rock music, pop, classical,jazz, and the classic rock. James has always done most of the writing and arranging for the band along with being a diversified musician for Crown of Roses. He does the acoustic and electric guitars, pianos,12 string acoustic guitar, and vocals for the alternative/inspirational soft-rock band, Crown of Roses.James has Produced three albums and is also one half of the heart and soul of the band, Crown of Roses. The band's most recent April-2016 digital release, First Rose, a pop/rock -EP, Produced by Ben Chew, James ,was the primary writer/composer and played the acoustic harmony guitars and all lead vocals, along with his twin brother, William David, doing the backing vocals. Played a integral part with the band's 1994 debut album, First Water. Over the years, James has introduced the band to different producers, Joey Welz,Canadian/American Records(piano player for Bill Haley's Comets), Ben Chew ,William John Kristofits, and most recently Michael Glines, who has been working with Crown of Roses for last three years with their new material for the forthcoming 2017 album release. William David Jampo
Audio Engineer Bassist Keyboardist Mixing VocalistWilliam David Jampo has been writing, producing, and recording music continuously since the early 1990's. Influenced by everything from ambient music,classical,inspirational, to the classic rock era.William started play the bass at age nine. He began recordings at a small recording studio near Philadelphia, in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, USA, collaborating with instrumentalist/guitarist, David Robinson. They experimented with a multi-track tape machine and Tascam 4 track recording equipment. Around the same time, William invited his brother, James Anthony Jampo to the studios, to record some electric guitars and backing vocals to the material. At this time, Crown of Roses was being born in it's infancy. William is one of the Co-founding members of Crown of Roses. He is a identical twin brother with James Anthony Jampo. He is a multi-instrumentalist, vocals/bass/piano,drums/chello-midi/keys/zither/programming/engineering/mixing/etc.William has been with recording artists, Crown of Roses, since the inception and the band's debut album release in August-1994. Handles much of the lyrics, the lyricist for the band and as well as composing/writing & co-writing with James. At one time, William also did the cantor for a Melkite Greek Monastery, Our Lady Of Solitude, Little Meadows, Pennsylvania, USA. He was a cantor for a good seven years,(2004-2011) doing the melkite greek chanting for all of the masses/liturgy @ the monastery in the mountains of Pennsylvania.During that time, he enjoyed assisting at mass doing the cantor and chanting, and felt that the Melkite chant really helped him when in the recording studio and touring with Crown of Roses. William David Jampo is very proud in calling himself a Indie recording artist over the years. He has been with Crown of Roses for over twenty years. The band is from the east coast, USA area, and is originally from Philiadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA and now is in Neath, in the northeastern Pennsylvania endless mountains. The Crown of Roses sound -melodic/eclectic, harmonies, and resonates a commercial/alternative/inspirational soft-rock sound. For the last two to three years, William has been busy in the studio finishing the recent April 19, 2016 Crown of Roses, First Rose-EP (pop/rock/alternative) release. And also putting final over-dubs/recording/tracks in the studio, additional engineering with recording engineers, Ross Stevens and John Schoover for the forthcoming 8th studio release, due out in the 2017 year. Jay Creed
Background Vocalist Composer Guitarist Recording ArtistJay Creed met William and James Jampo at a Large Concert venue, BARCARDI RUM concert,Allentown Pennsylvania, USA that Crown of Roses was performing at in the summer of 1996. Their musical relationship has not stopped since. Jay, did lead electric guitars, backing vocals, and lead vocals on three tracks recording with Crown of Roses on their successful August-2000 Second Taste (double CD) album which has had four singles charting internationally In Belgium, Australia, and Africa. In 2008, he was in the studio again recording the band's Fifth Paradise LP. Most recently, Jay Creed has recording with Crown of Roses for last two and half years, their 8th forthcoming studio album @ The Night Of Arts,studios, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, USA. The upcoming LP project is due for release in the 2017 year. He has also had Solo-albums and Singles released. His1992 single, on vinyl, "Look Out Your Window"&"Nuclear Holiday"-Publisher-Rex ZarioMusic(BMI) and his 2012 Jay Creed cat credo& the reggae surfers LP. William and James Jampo of Crown of Roses, recorded with Jay on of the tracks off the album. "Sleepsurf" and "Lets Go", doing bass & rhythm guitars. Over the years he has performed live with Crown of Roses, touring, college concerts, Cafe's, church events,& smaller concert venues,etc.. and playing Solo-shows thru-out the Easton,Allentown, Bethlehem, & Quakertown Pennslvania, USA areas. Philip Jampo
Drummer Filmmaking Keyboardist Percussionist PhotographerPhilip is known to many as the silent rose! The son of William David Jampo of Crown of Roses. He has been recording and touring with Crown of Roses since 2003. Performing live shows doing the drums, percussion and also piano. Recorded with the band for their 2007 Fourth Journey- EP, a experimental album during the beginning of the digital era. The album was Produced by Joseph Paradise. Played a big role with the 2010-11 Crown of Roses, Third Sign album release, drumming for most of the tracks and additional percussion. He did the entire Crown of Roses Cafe-Coffee-House Tour (2004-2009). Philip also, was a part of the 2014 Eighth Lenten-EP, (digital only), released by Golden Swan Records. He has been living in California for the last several years, traveling back and forth from the east coast Pennsylvania Golden Swan Records studios and The Night of Arts studios, recording the new material for the band's forthcoming 8th studio release. Philip has a Film degree from De Sales University and has a passion for film making,photography, and film directing, which he has been pursuing in California now. His schedule has been quite busy recording with Crown of Roses and doing the film/tv industry. He also has done some Solo work with his band, Cartoon Heart, playing some shows in the Allentown, Quakertown, and Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, USA, areas, doing the lead vocals for the band. Crown of Roses plans to have him doing backing vocals in the future projects. Presently, Philip has helped the band in the studio, playing pianos and drums, finishing the over-dubs and final tracks for their upcoming new 2017 album. AcquinasPublishingBMI
Timothy Bennett
Congas Player Drummer Touring Artist PercussionistTimothy has been with Crown of Roses since 2002. He has toured with them as Congos/Percussionist/ additional Drummer, performing @ different small venue concerts, Cafe's/Coffee Houses, Church Events,etc... and with the big 2004-2009 CAFE Tour with Crown of Roses, promoting their 2010-11 Third Sign album release. the successful tour was in the endless mountains of Pennsylvania northeastern Pennsylvania, the southern and central parts of New York and parts of New Jersey. Timothy has been recording with the band for the last three years, recording the band's forthcoming 8th studio album with several new Producers. He also played a big role with technical support/musician with Crown of Roses @ Grey Stone Studios, Dushore, Pennsylvania, USA, recording the 2007 Crown of Roses, Fourth Journey album, Produced by Joe Paradise. It was a experimental EP in the beginning of the Digital Era.. Timothy lives in the endless mountains of Pennsylvania in Towanda. He also performs live acoustic shows, church events with other recording artists as well, playing mostly on the Canjen instrument and all types of percussion. Every year during Christmas season, Timothy, becomes St. Nicolas -Santa Claus and helps out thru-out the Towanda Bradford county Pennsylvania,USA areas. Doing good for others and giving!
