Cuba Libre Son Band born 4 years ago through exploration of Caribbean rhythms with an influence from colombian pacific coast of where are from the members. This combination and musical mix got and unique and original identity with tropical air.

After a while the project was strength like a different proposal and began to be desired by prestigious stage like hotels, casinos, restaurants and renowned discos in Cali. Also began participations in recognized events like Feria de Cali and World Salsa Festival.

On 2014 Cuba Libre Son Band has an opportunity for visit Havana - Cuba, cradle of son and dance; make shows on representative places like La Bodeguita del Medio and search for traditions, the common life and artistic quality of this country; with this experience it creates a new horizont and make roots with the origin of their music.

Cuba Libre Son Band won a contest Metrópolis 2015 on salsa category, promoted by agency of culture from Cali and it was chosen like a participant for Song of Feria de Cali with "Caña y Guateque" [ (expired link) ]

During our more recently participation on version 58 of Feria de Cali, we have the honor to open the show to Los Van Van de Cuba, and we are nourished of the experience of this orquesta playing it in front 15,000 audience. Likewise Cuba Libre Son Band opens shows for recognized artists like Roberto Lugo, Rey Ruiz y Roberto Blades.

Actually the project proposal it's open to international market, with a vision continue climbing until make massive concerts and participate of music festivals around the world.
