History Repeats Itself
Song Reviews
Culture Shock rocks!
Upon the very first listen to Culture Shock's "History Repeats Itself", I was immediately impressed by the band's solid musicianship and genuine fire. Very spirited delivery, excellent songcraft - the arrangement and production are exceptional. I would certainly suggest following this terrific progressive rock band, as they are certainly destined for greatness.

'History Repeats Itself' Review.
Strong intro, and nice guitar tone! I love the thick crunch and that harmony leading into verse 1. Vocals are strong and the rhythmic section is very solid. Great guitar work throughout! To my ears, the mix is a bit muddy. I would like to hear the mids pushed a little bit and more of the high end pushed post-production. As far as the construction and arrangement of the actual song, I absolutely love it. Very Iron Maiden-esque. Reminds me of something that would've came off of the Book of Souls album. Great work!

A Book by its Cover?
At first listen I had a hard time getting past the production sound of this song. However, Getting past that I came find out that this song is very well put together. It's refreshing to hear a heavy sound with a singer whom I can understand every word. Great song, great message. I bet hearing this live is very heavy.

Nice guitars and nice arrangement...
This is a really good song, nice guitars and nice arrangement and good performance. But this production has a lack of all balanced frequencies, the mix between the instruments is good, but the equalization seems more the problem. All instruments seem to be mixed in middle frequencies, instead of spreading it over all bands. The song sometimes reminds me of Rainbow or Jack Starr. This song is worth to be done in more excellent quality.

rock on
Hi. when I first listened to this song I really liked the guitarbeat and sound to it. I specially liked the harmonyguitars that sounded much like old Thin Lizzystyle..liked that..the drums seen to have a reverb or something stuck to them, specially the snare, maybe its ment to be that way but to me it kinda smashes the sound of the hole song, but a nice tune guys.. rock on.

Culture Shock (US)
Culture Shock (US) history repeats itself is certainly a rock track, which reminds me of the classic rock sound of many of great American rock bands. The female voice sits just behind the lead vocals and the driving guitar and drums are perfectly put together. The vocalist has a old rock tone to the vocal which is delivered and reminds me of the band canned heat definitely in places. Definitely a rock outfit with a classic American rock sound. I enjoyed listening and reviewing this track.Culture Shock (US) keep rocking dudes.

Culture Shock - History Repeats Itself
Culture Shock hail from Canton Ohio and their track History Repeats Itself is a blistering return to the progressive and psychedelic rock of my childhood. The track begins with drums and a fuzz driven electric guitar. The tempo is driven throughout by a tight rhythm section and augmented with some nice lead guitar work. The track could have benefited from better production that the playing deserves particularly on the vocals. The sound gets a little muddy in places but the sound really lifts when the lead guitar solo comes in. Good track that took me back in time and if 70's rock is your thing check out Culture Shock. At four minutes the track is just the right length.

Culture Shock - History Repeats Itself
Culture Shock "History repeats itself" is a flashback in the hard rock/opera music of the seventies. The phantom of the Opera stands beside them. Keyboards, drums, guitar in evidence under a pure heavy metal voice. Well done !

Solid classic rock
Impressed of the guitar play style. The vocals in the first part sound a bit to heavily mixed and mastered but all in all sung pretty well. This song reminds a bit of 60/70´s rock (which is to be considered very positively). To sum up, a nice piece of solid rock music.

THEIR IS GOOD GUITARMANSHIP HERE FROM THIS CANTON OHIO ROCK OUTFIT THE VOCALS ARE A BIT HARD TO HEAR CLEARLY EVEN THOUGH THERE IS GOOD PASSION HERE THEY SEEM TO IMPROVE TOWARDS THE END OF THE TRACK IF YOU CAN REMIX THE FIRST PART OF THE VOCALS I WOULD DEFINITELY CONSIDER IT THE SONG HAS GOOD POTENTIAL TRY GETTING A MORE DEFINED SNARE SOUND AND BOTTOM END IM HEARING SABBATH BEING CHANNELED HERE IN A GOOD WAY

Great Classic Rock Song
Culture Shock is one of those bands that make you think were has did rock'nroll go. This songs brings me back to the times rock'n'roll was decent. Greatly played instruments and melodic sense without losing edge of rocking.
