Love it!
If the real world is going to increasingly resemble a surreal one—a dystopia not of acid rain but of golden showers—why shouldn’t our music mirror that? Pharmakon, the now 10-year-old noise project of New York’s Margaret Chardiet, is an artist of our time. She makes industrial music that trembles eerily and effectively. Her upcoming album Contact, promises to be apocalyptic. First single, “Transmission,” features a relentless buzzsaw that advances on the ear like an enemy, while she raps and screams into a reverberating echo chamber. “We are each nothing but a single, short-lived cell in a vast organism which itself will one day die,” she wrote in an artist’s statement about the album. That sounds about right. I’d also say “Transmission” is part of the soundscape of hypernormalisation, a concept explored in a recent Adam Curtis documentary of the same name, that centers on the technological and political terror that now characterizes all of our lives. It is an awful and ugly time, and if we are going to fight through it, a song like “Transmission” should remind, not relieve, us of that truth.

THUMBS UP
For years Da B.B.C has been putting in his dues in the hip hop genre. He has one of those unforgettable voices matched by his flow that never seems to lag. Anyone that's disgusted with current radio content and the direction of rap music today give this track a listen. Waiting on good quality rap music to drop is like waiting on a dripping faucet to fill the Grand Canyon these days! Long story short if your a hip hop connoisseur add this to your collection A.S.A.P.

Grimy & Catchy With Braided Bars!
Feelin' this track. Caught me off guard & grew on me while I was listening....had to do a rewind. Unorthodox flow & lyrics draw the listener in....then the hook wraps it all up, nicely. Great work from Da B.B.C!

Work on it
This song could use a better flow and lyrics. The beat is average and the overall polish of this song could use some work. The voice is the biggest spotlight of the entire track. The potential is there.
