Happy to present to You my own personal branding label, DaCrimZone. My name's George Davis. But every one calls me by nickname Foofah. I rap and perform under rap name, Foofah D' Groova. I'm now 44 years of age. Been there,done that inside and out with da streets and that lifestyle. Life lesson and lesson learned. I'm born in Riverside, California 5-19-73. Lived in San Francisco and East Oakland, California. Moved to Texas by the age 4. Beaumont ,Texas is my hometown. Went to church,school,and jail there. I've been rapping since 11. I started freestylin' with family and friends and in no time developed a cool flow. I played drums. Started playing at 5. My uncle Dinky taught me. Jumping back on track of where I've got off. In 1992,like in September. I was discovered by former manager Michelle Kyles from Houston TX neighborhood Trinity Gardens. I cut my first demo's in Trinity Gardens Cartels studio recorded by double platinum producer /beat maker of the power super group Trinity Gardens Cartels, Michael Banks. In a few weeks landed record contract with now deceased executive producer of Fowl Records, Derrick Coffey,out of 5th Ward in November '92. Under his label dropped the 1993 underground classic hit," 5th Ward's Nightmare". Which played in circulation on 97.9 the box in January 1993 all the way til the end of 1993. I ended getting 7years for possession of control substance. And ended up doing the whole 7. I discharged my 7 in February 2000. And been fighting my way to (expired link) thought I was done rapping in 2006. I told myself I'm done. Faith family and friends kept reminding me of such talent I have. So here's my Page
