We've got a new song out. A collaboration with the amazing electronic artist Whyy. He's done a great version of our latest single Popcorn Brain. We're still in the work process of our second album that hopefully will be released by the end of the year.

So the big day has come. Release day!

The strangest little band in town, PyraKite is about to release the debut album '7 Steps'. What a journey this has been! Three singles have been release prior to this date with three strange music videos accompanying them. To this date our singles have reached close to 40 000 listenings on Spotify. Amazing! More than we ever could have hoped for.

I, Henning, would personally like to thank all of those who contributed to this lovely piece of art. First of all:

A big thank you goes out to Robert Säll, Henrik Ståhlberg and Christopher Anderzon for contributing with their talents to enrich and arrange the songs with their knowing and for being curious enough to get into the music and understanding exactly what it was all about. And for putting up with my eccentric ideas and crazy view of life. Love you!
I would also like to give a big thank you to my lovely family for putting up with me during times of intensity while making this dream come true. Love you too much!

So what's the fuzz all about then? We'll PyraKite's '7 Steps' may be best described as 'indescribable', 'dreamy', 'mystic' classic rock/pop, musically leaning towards a passed time of the Beatles, Pink Floyd, Steely Dan, Prefab Sprout or Paul Simon. Who knows what or who else. Many of you out there has described it in so many different ways. It's 'music with a unique uplifting sound' someone said, someone else referred to it sounding 'Like a painting'. Maybe just like the one covering the album, who knows?

It's a concept album, which means that it's best experienced from start 'til end. The story of 7 steps (with it's 7 tracks) has got just as many layers to it as you wish. Hopefully the journey is both mine and yours.
I've already gotten some questions about it but I'll leave that up to you to decipher. :)

I would like to thank all the additional musicians who contributed on this album as well. On 'Go High' Jonas Knutsson with his fenomenal sax solo and the lovely horn section + the arrangement by Andreas Kjäll. Thank you!

I would also like to thank all you people that has given me feedback and your thoughts on the music. I really appriciated it!

At last I would like to thank my lovely children to whom this record is dedicated, and to my lost friends/travelers in time, you know who you are, wherever you are.

Hi there all you wonderful people!

Thank you once again for following us on our journey towards the debut release '7 Steps' on the 23rd of September. We're on this journey together and it feels awesome to share it with you.

On the 1st of May we released our first single 'Beauty Queen' to the world and the way it has been received is way over our expectations. A flood of positive feedback has come to our notice since then. On the first of June we release our second single, a remix of 'Beauty Queen' made by the great Jonathan Lundquist. It's a dreamy, groovy and ambient remix of the song. We love it, and we hope you do too.

Now we are releasing our last single before actual album release on the 23rd of September this year. Although we feel that it has been a bit strange to chop up and separate the tracks from each other we know that we needed to do that, to be able to get your attention in time for the actual release. '7 Steps' is a concept album and that means that it is best experienced from start 'til end to get the full understanding of our music and vision. But more on that later... Thanx for joining us here and we're excited to continue this journey with you all!

Today is a good day. And the digital release day for 1st single from the debut album '7 Steps' by Swedish indie pop/rock band PyraKite.

This is a good time to tell you a little about it. ‘7 Steps is really a concept album meant to be experienced from start ‘til end. Unfortunately during times like this most peoples attention span doesn’t reach further than just about 3 min. And that’s about the time it takes for you to listen to this happy lovesong. ????
We, on the other hand, think more of our fans. ????That’s why we’ll release the full album on the 23rd of September this year. Then you’ll experience about 35 minutes of lovely indie pop/rock music with a new refreshing and unique sound. ❤️

On top of that:
By then we also have released a remix of ‘Beauty Queen’ on the 1st of june and a second single ‘Go High’ on the 22 nd of June. Isn’t that just great?! :)
