DaddyRocks! is:Billy King,Kyle Black & Mike Love,a TexasRock'nBlues PowerTrio together for just over five years with more than thirty original tunes to date! On Bass & Lead/backup Vocals,Billy King played in many regionally sucessful bands such as Daniel one of Dallas,Texas' premeir bands of its' time-who in the early 70's played on concert stages with internationally aclaimed acts such as Spirit,War,Its A Beautiful Day,Bob Seager & many more securing a record deal with Epic Records.Also Recording with artist Will Barnes,as well as Bowley and Wilson,an independent internationally known comedy recording /touring act,Stevie&The Stealers,& famous east coast blues artist Patti Sterling.Inducted into the Respected Buddy Magazine"Texas Tornados" several years ago,he now concentrates solely on writing & performing as a part of the heart and soul of DaddyRocks! Kyle Black was raised listening to music from"across the tracks".He picked up his first guitar at an early age & realizing he had a knack for it,made it his first love from then on! He played around Dallas and all over Texas with a variety of highly respected bands,has played with many of the regions very best blues/rock acts.Now Kyles'soulful,searing rockin'blues style of fire & energy guitar & Lead/Backup Vocals is part of the Texas Rockin'Blues Power Trio-Daddy Rocks! Mike Love back on Drums and Lead/Backup Vocals was a young man in Oklahoma when he heard his first Beatles song.."Love Me Do" I think it was,and from there it didn't take him long.He had to get into the music and up on that stage to fullfill his rock and roll appetite and dream.After perfecting his style and technique with many successful southern Oklahoma bands thru college,his rock solid and steady drive led him to a home in Texas with DaddyRocks! He lays downd the all important foundation for this powerhouse band to build on,rounding out the unique and definitivly TEXASRockinBlues style,soul and sound of DaddyRocks!
