Song Reviews

...let the party begin!

A little bit of a disturbing intro with strange sounds, which I personally like, but then opens into that britpop style flowing song driving and grooving with a party line stomping and throwing out all depressive moods. Best to keep a party rocking and the guests dancing! Good and convincing production and performance, nothing to complain about and highly recommended to all who want to let the party begin!

Great

Imagination from the the beginning with opening sounds. The title greatest unknown artist caught my attention. OK with this build up you could only lose. Yet you surprise me again. I like the song. In fact it's the greatest song I heard this year.. magic

Great Song

I like it. It has a George Harrison feel to it. I can envision and hear the horns and such like Spector would have down if he got a hold of it. Sounds like his Crackerbox Palace album stuff. Great vocals and lyrics. Great song !

Surpricing...

First the intro..then a surpricing turn to the song and I think it has a nice feel about it. Happy tune with nice harmonies and somehow I got to think about 10cc..dont know why really..but a good feel song and I really like it.

Great song

Great song, great hook, seriously, a college radio hit for the introverts! The debut of the song is quite spareable, just can't understand the horse thing, but hey, it's your song! Good luck to you and your band, I really like your sound!

Very Good!

I'm hearing lots of Beatles influences. I mean that as a huge compliment. Very interesting song, and way it's put together. From the beginning of the song with the odd sounds etc... to the end of the song, it goes along nicely. Kind of Pop/Rock which is cool. Has a pleasant appeal to it. Good solid mix, as you could hear the instruments and vocals very well. Best of Luck. Keep going, you're doing well. Sincerely Edward Westbrook (Atomic Energy Society)

yes

The Greatest Unknown Artist of All Time review. this song is a strictly Rock piece in the highest sense of the word. everything sounds in Rock style as I said everything recalls the Rock genre . personally it is not my favorite genre but I can give you a musical judgment that is certainly positive because all that there must be in a Rock piece in your piece is therefore complimented and continues. good job

Just Once

dain has sent you a request for review... So I'm listening to this tune and wondering, is this song about me, does dain know me, do I know dain? I believe that dain, is wanting to start an American Invasion with his Beatles esque "Greatest Unknown Artist of All Time" song. I also believe, If the right label bombarded the airwaves with "The Greatest Unknown Artist of All Time" it would be a hit. One suggestion, I would have only used the line "I'm the greatest unknown artist in my mind" one time, at the end of the song as the conclusion.

Fun tune

Helpful

This is fun and cool..really wasn’t sure what to expect but the intro drew me in and once the rocky-ness of the track kicked in definitely pleasantly surprised, stopping by the site now to check out some more tunes great job!

the greatest unknow artist of all time

Hi guys! I just heard a song called the greatest unknow artist of all time and sincerely during the whole listening moment, I thought it was an English band, for several reasons like musical style and composition, sound, voice some reminded me of Bowie, the solo guitar to Brian May. It is possible that I am wrong, but it could also be influences in the awakening of music, as it happens to us all, in any case, whether it is this way or not, this song makes me think that in addition to making music, they do it very well and despite my comments on the influences, the theme is very original, I liked it a lot ... It is very happy, in constant change and movement and it does not stop being funny at any time. I thought that nobody was doing music like this in the world for many years, so I hope they continue like this and I hope to listen more! Music teachers !!!

Great song

Cool. Love the soundscapes in the beginning. Raw, a bit Elvis Costello feel. A bit of Lennon in there as well. The harmonics are very good. A lot of 70s vibe to it. Great song with the right kind of feel. And a nice Beatle-influenced ending. Well done!

Strange Intro but I Liked it!

I usually don't hear a song if the intro doesn't grab me in the first 32 beats, but yours kept me going and I'm 'glad' I did. It was well worth the wait for me, but maybe not for others who don't and can't hear what I hear. I like the way the melody is structured like a familiar Beatles song "It's getting Better all the Time" and a mix of other artist, but done 'your' way. Man, I have to hand it to you with those double twin guitars...you nailed it there, man. That was spot on. You'd have gotten a '5' if you had a different intro, but those twin guitars saved it from a '4'. Good Luck on your Music adventure here at N1Music, my friend.....gizzmow, Bonham, Texas

Not 4 long!

Well worth listening to. Nice arrangement. Nice lyrics, but at this rate they will be well known artists. Nice storyline. I listened to it on an iPad tho I will listen again on decent gear in the near future as I'm sure it's all there, bass etc I enjoyed it.

Clever lyrics, nice double lead guitar, ala very beatle- ish

The song is clever and is definitely Beatles inspired, which to me being a Beatle fan is well received. I love the harmony on both the vocals and on the double lead guitar notes. I Could visualize maybe Clapton or Brian May playing. Vocals and lyrics would lean towards Lennon.Good recording. I like the harmony at the end. Have a listen...don’t stop. Please keep making music. Peace and Love.

Now here's something you don't hear every day!

I LOVED the intro! I will refrain from calling it throwback, or Beatlesque. I get a lot of that myself. Great song, great lyric, I love the vibe it creates and the guitars. Great work Dain. All the best. Joe.

Throwback music

Very odd beginning for the rest of the song. The song itself reminds me of 70's music, both in a good and a bad sense. Mix sounds pretty haphazard - almost like the microphones were picking up more air than music.
