Dain-Find my way

I am very glad to have discovered Find my way (its only Wednesday) from Dain. It reminds me a bit of a mix between the Beatles instrumentally and David Bowie vocally. The song in itself is well produced and the piano arrangements are nicely appropriate for the style. A touche of humour is leaking across the lyrics. The result makes it less dramatic and pleasant to listen.

Dain .... it’s only Wednesday

Nice keys and and several styles in one song starting with a nineteen seventies sort of vamp and then a surprise soft and great piano but with the frustrated vocal touching on pink Floyd style of voice and then accompanied by a tounge in cheek classical backing. Interesting and entertaining song with many layers of instruments. Well done dain well worth a listen till the end

Its only Wednesday on Sunday

Hi, Good song I like it. At the start I thought there was a bit of Bowie about it when I listened to it for the first time. Great work, I will have a listen to your other stuff aswell. One of the best songs Ive heard on here so far.

it's only wednesday review. this song is a strictly Rock piece in the highest sense of the word. everything sounds in Rock style as I said everything recalls the Rock genre. personally it is not my favorite genre but I can give you a musical judgment that is certainly positive because all that there must be in a Rock piece in your piece is therefore complimented and continues. good job

It's Only Wednesday

You have a unnique voice and this song in particular reminds me of the vocal stylings and phrasing of The Cure to The Clash then reminiscient of Elvis Costello. Pairing a simple lyric with complex musical composition really works for this song. It made me feel hopeful and then brought me down a bit.You have a very accomplished band, great instrumentals on all bass, guitar and drums. I like your song Freedom even more. I would not have found you if you had not requested a review, so I am glad you did. Altogether you have a fresh sound and I think your voice has such great range for so many genres. I just love your voice...such raw emotion. You help your listeners feel and connect with you. That is what is essential in to my mind about music. Thanks for sharing your talents.

It's Only Wednesday - review

The song has merit! Musically the structure was remiscent of the osmunda but crossed over into a Floyd inspired middle eight which carries toward the finale, a thunderclap. I missed the sound of falling rain at the beginning of the piece which was evoked by the keyboard. With another look at the lead vocal in the opening verses and in a recording studio with an engineer this would be an excellent track to write a. Album around. Lacks production quality which takes away from the excellent performance.

Great melodic Rock tune

This song has an early Bowie feel to it. Very nice piano parts. The singer does use Bowie inflections & it works very well! The backing vocals in the last 3rd of the song really add to the theme of the main character being "wasted". I also like the way the song starts with upbeat verses & then morphs into a different feel after the piano solo in the middle. If you are a fan of Ziggy Stardust, then this song is for you!

Great work! but It's Only Wednesday

Wow! Reminds me of the late, great, David Bowie. So, what I'm saying here is it's very talented! Love the changes and how you incorporate piano and chorus. The song has feeling! - very professional!

dain review

As it begun i noticed its interesting, and different. That is a good thing. Also I find it honest, and kinda humorous. Sound is better and better now as it goes a good smooth build up.. At the end a surprise. The Psychedelic aspect came as a bit of an uplift and I would say its what it claims to be. I like the snare sound as well. The start is a nice sounding piano and it morphs into a kind of reggae then remains in context and changes to a darker bit where a change in atmosphere occurs but does not destroy the fullness of the composition. I like it very much actually. The Backup vocals very nice morbidity. Thanx for being original. Great scream by the way. :)

Save your wednesday

Hello, Dain! How are you doing? Boy, I was surprised by many things listening to this song! At first I remembered something from David Bowie, but throughout the development music reminded me a little Meat Loaf ... Regarding the development of music, I liked the piano and keyboard groove. The guitar also scores very well the harmonic progression. Concerning the lyrics of the song, it fulfills its role as message, and the interesting vocal work in the final part of the song must be highlighted! Congratulations on the work and I will recommend to all my network to listen to your music !! .. And when you have time, go to my page and listen to my work;) Keep working hard to create great new songs!

Piano and a little insame voice

Obviously some pretty piano playing. A liitle Bob Geldof in there. I think there is a little Pink Floyd influence in there as well. I appreciate the creativity on this. Nice job on the call and response insane voice in your head lyrics.

Wasted

It's different. But it ain't wasted, sort of Meat Loaf with a poor storyline. Don't like the strange deep voice harmonies tho. This song musically pleasant with well recotded and arranged instruments. I like the double bass sawing away in the background.
