I have been asked to sing with a mask on and find that it dose two things that inhibit proper entertainment and communication. first it eliminates the facial expression of the singer and removes emotion to the listener. Second the mask acts as a filter to the tonal quality of the voice, eliminating the potential for proper clarity and interpretation of the listener. I will sing with out a mask thank you. To insinuate that I spit when I sing is a lame effort to silent the music. As trained singers are aware of the condition of throat and mouth during performance. Such accusations are insult to the artist.
