This is a great song that tells the story so many people face everyday. This song really needs to be pitched to some record labels. There are alot of female artist right now waiting on that breakout song. This could easily be the song they have been looking for. Great job.

Hi Dana. Up front, I have to say that I have never been a fan of songs about break-ups and failed anything. I really don't mean to bring any kind of condemnation on you, but since I gave my heart fully to Christ, He has had me focus on Him and any other positives that I notice through-out my life. I just say that to say that I find it hard to review this kind of a song involving failed relationships; that's all. :) With that out of the way, for what it is worth, this song seems to be laid out in a good order. Great voice, and great arrangement of the tune. The way that the music has been written leads from a soft melancholy mood to a mood of finality. The idea of sweet memories combined with a sad outcome have never sat right with me, but I suppose it follows the traditional losing everything country song. ;) For the type of song aimed for, I guess I would have to say that you have succeeded. Wow, from the first note you sang I heard something very rare...your heart! Only someone who has had some life's experiences could deliver the words in such a way that you are right there, "Letting Go". Keep it up, you are changing people's lives!

Another strong ballad, the lyric confused me a little. After the first verse I was expecting a love song not a breakup song. Maybe put some clues in the first verse. Actually, the way to fix this song is to start with the second verse and then write a new second verse. Yup, your first verse is the problem. Great song demo, everything is in it's place, instruments are right on and nothing grabbed my ear in a bad way. Start with the second verse. Write a new second verse about how she's grown. :)

I like The song.. I like "The Total Package"..as You know I never gave 5 Stars..there is always "a room for improvement"..I hope that You will pitch it to The Radio Stations..Record Companies..I listen it 2 times.. I think You will sound Great to sing one of My Songs...I just wish You make recording a little shorter ( Radios take 2.5 - 3.5 min long ). I think this is not a big problem.. I have always liked the voice of Dana Jordan. She always have good songs and I really like this 1. Instruments are well put together, tempo of song is good, Voice is clear and easy listen too. Hi Dana, you have written a great song with a strong chorus. Overall there is a nice melodic flow in the song. The verse lyric could lead a bit stronger to the chorus. For the listener it takes some time to get into your story. The production of the song is nice but sounds a bit dated.
