Kirk Cornelius Brown, stage name Dandexx, was born on the 14th of April, 1976 in the Parish of Kingston.

Music was something he had in him as far back as 1993 while he worked as a baker. In his free time he would write lyrics, but decided to take a break from his day job to perfect his art.
