An axe-man for a new generation of metal,he aspires to bring back the Age of the (expired link) guitar prowess has made him a fan favorite throughout the Southeast Texas and Houston areas.
Danny wears his inspirations on his (expired link) holds nothing back when performing; to all the amazing metal fans far and wide with his six string onslaught.
At the age of seven years old Danny discovered the guitar from two astounding musicians of the Hee Haw show; Roy Clark and Buck Owens."I begged my mother for a guitar from there on,lol" fortunately he recieved one that christmas and has not put it down since.
At the age of 12 yrs old Danny was diagnosed with a very large and rare brain tumor,doctors told him that he probably would never be able to play guitar after his brain surgery,due to where the tumor was located in the center of his brain,boy were they ever wrong!
Although starting in the country genre,it wasnt until he was 13 years old when he and his cousin elaborately snuck into a kiss concert where he discovered Rock n (expired link) quotes "It was like an untamed fire deep in my soul,the roar of the distorted electric guitar was unquinchable for me to bare".It was what he wanted to do from there after.
It was the summer of 1984 the year that metal was on an uproar and Danny bought his very own electric guitar,and locked himself in his bedroom learning songs from the radio and tapes he could borrow from friends at the time,until one day he heard a particular music coming from his stepdads car,it was crushing anything he had ever heard in those days; Al Di Meola's "race with the devil" ,it inspired him to seek the most technical and bad ass guitar players in that (expired link) eyes were open to a whole new world of guitar playing from influences of Yngwie Malmsteen ,Steve Vai,George Lynch,Paul Gilbert,Vinnie Moore and many others.
By 1987 he was playing with several different bands but they werent dedicated to the art ,so Danny was on a quest to seek out serious minded musicians,It wasnt until 1989 when he met his now life long friends ; drummer Mike Williams and guitar player Billy Mcclelland and Bassist Mick Worsham,immediately hit it off and started writing songs together and formed Hired Gunz.
Hired Gunz immediately moved to the Houston area and became one of the top three metal acts to see live ,the other two were Revolution w/ now famed Rusty Cooley, and Stride w/Joel (expired link) also shared the stage with these impeccable guitarist at that time,also including Legs Diamond,Nadir D-Priest "London".
Hired Gunz disbanded in 1992 due to two band members signing contracts for the band without consent w, the founding members.
In 1994 Danny and Chuck Williams "Six Minute Century" formed Ivory Tower and began writing songs for the five piece group to avail became a force to be wreckened with,playing festivals and radio success and fronting the Houston food drive w/record breaking results and televised concerts ,including the band Great White as a contributor.
With two years of hard work paying off Ivory Tower was sought after by three major record labels- Atlantic records, Warner Brothers and EMI (expired link) an event would destroy the possibilities of Ivory Tower from continuing with their success.
With all the demise of events in Danny's life he managed to pull through and continued with his love for the guitar and music and formed what he considered at the time a super group with Mike Williams ,Mick Worsham and Chuck Williams now as Dead Men Walking.
Although, DMW didnt have the success as the latter of Ivory Tower the musicianship was a thousand times more beautiful and (expired link) was a very progressive metal onslought with time signatures and movements of music that were almost impossible to pull (expired link) a time when metal was changing and as prog as DMW was; crowd attendance diminished by 2003,and hardcore had hit the scene w/cookie monster vocals taking charge it was back to the drawing board for Danny and DMW.
Disbanded for a brief time DMW reformed but without Chuck Williams,adding newly founded vocalist Jay Stapp at the helm,DMW shifted gears towards the new trend of hardcore but with minimal success had to call it quits,also due to musical differences arising.
Although Chuck Wiilliams no longer performed with DMW ,he still carries the legacy of his and Danny's songwriting endeavors w/Nightmare Records artist Six Minute (expired link) Minute Century's first record release contains three of those songs written by Chuck and Danny,Those three songs will go on to be their strongest titles today.
By 2010 Danny grew tired of chasing trends in the music world and needed to go back to his roots,and the birth of Hear N'Ade fit those needs ;so a new chapter arises and Danny is looking forward to releasing their first record,in the spring of 2016.
