Love the Caribbean sound. That vintage sound is awesome to me. I feel a better mix down of this song would clean up some of imperfections. But I can here the finished vision for this song. I believe it can be awesome and even more attractive to listeners....

This song has a great Melody and is very catchy to the ear I love the guitar strings and I love the Caribbean feel that the vocals give I have added this song to my favorites it's laid-back gentle it still remains catchy to the soul a spirit. I love the authenticity! I haven't heard this style in years, and never like that. From a modern, or 'contemporary', viewpoint it lacked flow and steady rhythm. Perhaps could be improved by recording in 3 stages (bass, guitar, vocals), but you may be enticed to through a lot more bass notes in there. Mostly I would say this is your style right now, keep focused on seeing the king and play and sing. Oh, and keep sharing your heart! Keep being you honoring Him in your music above all!

I think this song was interesting. The instrumental part was really good. The vocals were pitchy, but I heard a lot of joy in the vocalist's voice. The lyrics were too repetitive. Need something to change it up.

Love the intro with the guitar perfect, it is just the right touch. You couldn’t have done a better job on the vocals, I can hear the passion in your voice. And I think this brass in the bass; I like that.

Dane Mando Osborne's recording of "We Shall See the King" is a simple, heartfelt expression of childlike faith that we will see the King someday. It is sung with sincerity and authenticity, and the melody is pleasant. From the standpoint of execution, however, it is pretty ragged. There are only two instruments. One is an electric bass (or is it a harp being played in the low end of its range?), and the other is either a guitar or a baritone ukelele, or some other instrument I can't quite put my finger on. In any case, the tempo is a little uneven throughout. It is first noticeable on the lead instrument in the intro, and then later it is noticeable in the bass. I'm not saying you should use a click track or a metronome, but whatever the tempo is, it should be the same for all instruments. About halfway thru, both the bass and the lead instrument skip a beat, and I'm not sure whether this is intentional or not. The song is sung with real feeling and authenticity, but the pitches are often a little bit off, especially when he sings "Glo - o - ry." The ending is innovative and unexpected, which is a good thing. Bottom line, I hope he keeps praising the Lord from the bottom of his heart, and that his precision improves.

Hi there Dane. You have some great bones to work with here brother. That reggae feel is very much welcome. The guitar and the bass could be a bit tighter with each other. You might want to choose a bit of a different musical transition from the verse to the chorus, but that may just be my particular style. It sounds like you might be going back to repeat the verse again. Some of the notes you have chosen to sing during the verses do not line up with the notes you have played on your instruments. This tended to cause confusion within me, regarding the direction of the next series of note. I can sense the passion, and your love for the Lord, in your voice, but you might want to find someone who can handle the requirements of this song. This song requires a stronger singer. This song was obviously born out of a heart that dearly desires to see Jesus, and soon. Keep up the great work brother. Nice reggae song. This song takes me to the islands of Jamaica or Bahamas in the breeze at the beach. Good lyrics and very catcy. The melody is beautiful, however there are off-time pauses in some parts of the songs and the notes from the instruments are a little off key. Fine tune the instrumental notes for playing in the correct key and balance the base. Still I enjoyed the song. I wish you much success.

never heard gospel in jamaica style but it does have a catch i think if you add the more sound of steel drums and percussion it will bring more brightness to the song and i think it will attract more of the audience you are looking for but over all what you are speaking about i get it and it makes since for that i loved it

The song is nice when it comes to the lyrics and the music. But personally I think it needs a different arrangement. A little tidying up of the vocals and BAM . . . you will a nice consistent song that is easier to follow.
