About Dan Gignac
Artist - Began music lessons at age 5, began teaching at age 13. Performed in many music festivals over the course of childhood. Influenced by and cut musical chops on bands from his youth such as Rush, Triumph, Van Halen, Boston, Supertramp and many more. As a teenager began gigging anywhere that would allow him to play. Over the course of his music career, has had the privilege be to a part of a few bands and solo (under the name Bignac) work as well. The last project being the founder of, guitarist, backing vocals and principal song writer for the band Normann. Dan has been fortunate to have made numerous friends within the business with some being fairly high-profile musicians and artists. Though Normann is currently on an extended break, the chance of regrouping is good. Dan plays multiple instruments, but his main focus is guitar. Dan has been writing and recording music since he was 10 years old and is a purest when it comes to recording, hence, not over engineered and recorded live off the floor whenever possible, with minimal effects. That way when people come to a show, what they hear is similar to the recording and no Manilli Vanilli antics dropped into backing tracks. His Motto, If you love Music, Play it!
