Daniel Freedman is a composer and musician. He has written two musicals: "Pearl and the Pumpkin" and "Toby the Incredible Learned Pig". Pearl and the Pumpkin was performed by Colorado Dramatists at Red Rocks Theater in Colorado. It is based on the writings of L. Frank Baum and W.W. Old Winthrop Mill
United States, Connecticut, New London, 8 Mill Street, 06906The Harvest Festival has a apple pie baking contest, corn grinding, horse rides, crafts and locally produced wares! Music is produced by Sherry Stidfold and includes many different popular groups from the area. The Mill itself will be open for public tours all day long and you get to see the workings of a Mill that dates back to 1650! It was originally built for John Winthrop, the first Governor of Connecticut by the citizens of New London.
