Daniel Freedman is a composer and musician. He has written two musicals: "Pearl and the Pumpkin" and "Toby the Incredible Learned Pig". Pearl and the Pumpkin was performed by Colorado Dramatists at Red Rocks Theater in Colorado. It is based on the writings of L. Frank Baum and W.W.     The weekend of Oct. 18-20th will have numerous tributes to native son Tom Petty! There are tribute bands playing at the Heartwood music stage on the evening of the 19th near Depot Park. The next day which is Tom Petty's birthday, and mine, they will rename North East Park, Tom Petty Park. The ceremony is scheduled for 1:30 P.M. at the Park.
