About Daniel Keyte

Bachelor's degree in music from University of Montreal, Daniel has studied the classical guitar with Robert Lemieux, Arturo Para Hernandez and Peter McCutcheon. He also studied jazz guitar with Nino Coya. Everything starts in 1977 with Daniel's first public appearances in a classical duo with Yves Labreche. This will last until 1982 when Daniel forms a progressif rock group named Puzzle. In 1985, with an excursion in the Quebec pop scene, he became the guitarist for Martin Stevens, Barbara, Jenny Rock and Aaron King. He has also played in the group Rewind and (expired link) 2007, he played lead guitar for Pascal Chaumont. In july 2008, Daniel formed a jazz trio named *Les 13 Cordes* with Yves Labreche and Sylvain Bedard. Today Les 13 Cordes has 4 musicians and a lead singer.
