Bone Picker Review
I loved the harmonies of the vocals. The instrumental is top notch up with what can be heard at the String Music Festivals. Superb mastery of the fiddle and guitars. I enjoyed the story of the song lyric. Nice to hear some real country! Is there a banjo too? I loved the introduction and It is easy to sing along to this song. Keep the hits coming!

Hear the Rattle of the Bone... Bone Picker!
I really enjoyed this song. It's played use accoustical stringed instruments. Guitar, fiddle and played very nicely too. Pro skills and on instrumentation and the male lead vocals accompanied by a female lead/backup singer is very good also. Both have strong vocals sing on key and harmonize great. This song has a Zeppelinie 3 or 4ish album feel to it. The acoustic guitars and vocals use a similar chord structure and harmony vocals as anyone of those albums, very similar. I like it when musicians emulate either their hereos of rock or write quality lyrics and music. This song has an up beat tempo and a tap your foot along with the song feel to it. Everything was well played and I thought was a quality sounding recording. Bone Picker.... RATTLE THE BONES is a great song and worth listening to. If you like Blue Grass, Rockabilly and Pyscobilly jams this is the song for you. Technically well played and sung with heart and passion and is a high quality recording

Feels like i"m in a swamp, try to get out, but i'am stuck
Great and amazing lovely music, This song reminds and give's me the feeling, like the movie "O Brother, Where Art Thou?"Man of Constant Sorrow from the soggy bottom boys. This song has a lot of swing, color and sort of a nasty dark side. I really love it. Dave's voice sounds fantastic. Dark and raw whit the female background vocal, what brings it more up. Feels like i"m in a swamp, try to get out, but i'am stuck. I did listen to some other tracks to be sure if only this song is good enough and maybe the rest of a questionable level, but no... they are great. You just heard that there is good thinking about all the songs. And everything is in place. Cheers guys. Keep on making great music.

Awesome. Raw, dry, real sound. Love the way backing vocals are offset. That add character. This is an "Old Crow" sound with an in your face punchy feel. I had to go check out their page. Love real raw music. Keep jammin

No bones about it.
I like the feel of it and sounds great too ,love the raspy type vocals ,this is an awesome down home tune that leaves you with a moonshine corncob taist in your ears. I would put more vocals maybe 3 part harmony would make it even better.

Psycho. Cool
I really like the unrelenting rhythm. The varying patterns lend a ghostly background track to the psycho subject matter. I would offer one criticism though. A dynamic pattern similar to the intro might be in order somewhere else in the song as well. When the bone picker comes... What instrument does she play? Cool subject. Great use of loose picking and solo instrumentation. Truly 'billyfied'.

Pickin And A-Grinnin On Bones
With a nice feel, this acoustic guitar driven song tells the story of someone who is on her way, so look out. The catchy vamp hook repeats "you'll know she's a coming, hear the rattle of the bones" so who wouldn't enjoy this? The instrumentalists are all proficient and fun to enjoy. This raspy lead singer carries an attitude of "this is me, so like it or not there is it." I enjoyed that as well. If you like organic and honest songs with a bluesy country two beat feel, this might well be one you will enjoy as much as I did..

What I really need!
This is the right music at the right time. It's catchy, stays in your mind just after few seconds. The sound is what I need now, now that all that surrounds me is fake and boring as the stuff puked by radios. Excellent job Dave, Dyno and the Roadkill Or chestra!!!

Mama and papa days are back
I like this very reminiscent of the Mama and Papa days folk rock from the later 60s. Acoustic guitars, flat picking and a maybe a touch of Mungo Jerry here and there. Great music for dancing too or even easy listening.

Loved the Instrumentals
All in all I did enjoy this song and I don't really like country all that much. The instrumentals were actually pretty amazing in my opinion I think that the mix itself could use a little bit of work though. I think if you made the female vocals blend a little better with the male, instead of overpowering them, it would sound a lot better in the end. Good work!

Great heartfelt old school country music!
Love it! Old school, from the heart country music. Twangy, down home harmonizing. Has an authenticity to it that's missing from most modern country music.

Bone Picker
Takes me back home to East Ky,where I grew up and bluegrass music originated. The music here is straight out of the deep hollows, backporch banjo and guitar. The vocal sometimes has a Bob Dylan touch and at other times reminds me of Ed & Julie,my Nashville alt country friends,Ed being a now famous producer and a member of Robert Plants band.As a producer myself, what you have going on here is cool work, keep it up.Thumbs up,Dave and crew, best to ya,Sonny Tackett
