About Dave Molter

An accomplished veteran of the Pittsburgh, MIdwest and East Coast music scenes since 1965, Dave counts The Beatles as his primary influence.

Dave's debut EP, Foolish Heart, contains two # 1 songs and three more Top 5! .
As a single, "Foolish Heart" topped the (expired link). Indie Giant Top 10 and entered the Radio Indie Alliance Top 40 at #6. "Tell Me That You Love Me" debuted at #1 on Wayne Lundqvist Ford's Ice Cream Man Power Pop and More show in Sweden. Dave's debut single, "Mid-Century Man," scored Top 10 placement on more than a dozen indie radio stations worldwide. It has been imn the Top listener requests for listener requests the Zootapradio Mix Channel Top 10 in Fort Worth, Texas, since Memorial Day 2019, and the "Foolish Heart" single just joined it there.

Current plans call for the release of a full CD, "Mid-Century Man," in early 2020. all songs are produced and engineered by multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter Buddy Hall at Diversity Studio in Pittsburgh, PA. The songs feature contributions from heavy-hitting, nationally known musicians such as guitarist and composer Steve Dudas, who played with Ringo Starr and The Roundheads for more than a decade and continues to record and write with the former Beatle.

Dave views "Foolish Heart" and "Mid-Century Man" as vehicles to spread a positive message about the power of love in today's world. The songs have the unifying theme of love — as Dave sings in "Mid-Century Man" — "an emotion we don't have enough of."

Says Dave, "John Lennon said it best in 1968: 'All you need is love.' I still believe it."
