G'day to you all where ever you may be around the world.
Just thought I'd give you a quick update on the studio sessions for the upcoming CD ( working title "Australia" ).
Next week sees me back at Sound Concepts, Parkdale, Victoria Australia to lay down the drums tracks for the
first three songs for the CD: "Dreamtime", "4 1/4 Footy" and "Life On The Road". I'll have the amazing Angus Birchall
(John Farnham, Joe Camillieri & The Black Sorrows, etc ) on the drum kit again. Although short in statue, his abilitly
is larger than life. I was lucky enough to have him grace my last CD "Nowhere Near The End" (available on itunes and
hardcopy - which contains a bonus DVD of film clips, live performances and archival footage - via mail-order at
P.O.Box 691 Northcote, VIC 3070 Austraalia @ AUD$30.00ea incl S+H),
And while Melbourne swelters through yet another indian summer downunder, this project shows no sign of cooling
down any time soon. I also have a new facebook page up 'n' running called Dave Owens Australia. Be sure to check out the photos, etc I have uploaded.
