Dave Percell: This Is To Inspire My Supporters To Go To The Next Level
During the recording and writing of my CD "Now What", I amputated the tip of my right hand index finger. I am left handed so this is the hand that I chord and riff with. I can not tell you how I felt when this happened. I have been playing guitar since I was eleven years old. The tip of my finger was amputated down past my finger nail, it was all gone. All I could say the minute I looked at it was " God this is not going to work, I believe that you can heal my finger better than it was". The tip of my finger was sowed back on and the doctor told me that I would not have a finger nail and no feeling in the tip of my finger. Long story short, I have a finger nail, and the tip of my finger was so sensitive that I use a band aide around my finger when I play, you can not tell that it was damaged unless I show you the marks where the stitches were. So the doctor was wrong. Eight songs were completed after this accident with a band aide wrapped around it, and I play better than I did before because of the adjustment, which is hard to explain. That is why I say " Take This Journey With Me "Now What". You can share this if you like. I am glad to inspire. Now when you listen to my songs, you can listen with a different mind set. Download "Now What" And thank you so much for your support.
Thank You Again,
Dave Percell
