Lead by seasoned blues harp player, vocalist and guitarist Dave Purple, Hot Wires rhythm section of Dan Seward on bass & Paul Tompkins on drums deliver a bluesy & rocky mix of originals and covers played with a gritty passion.
Dave’s songs cover a wide range of genres and influences from Blues, funk and rock and content can be unashemedley political or personal.

since making the album, my son Dan who is a very talented guitarist as well as a bass player has moved to the (expired link), and is currently writing material for his own album.
Our current line up is me (Dave Purple) on guitar, lead vocals and harmonica, Tim Bragg on drums & backing vocals, David Donachie on Bass.
