Deepening on the furrows opened by “Burnin’ Love” and “Slip Into a Dream”, Dave, Monica and their band weave an original tapestry of pure Chicago blues tradition with a forward-looking sound and energy. His song “Mary Who” is an authentic tour de force, a vivid portrait of urban life where Dave Weld proves his mettal as storyteller. Moreover, in every single track of this ground-breaking album we can relate to the vibrations of contemporary life blowing like a fresh breeze from the depths of a well-rooted sonority. The album was recorded at Joyride Studio, mixed at The Switchyard Studio in Nashville, produced by Tom Hambridge and post-produced at Delmark Records Riverside Studio by Elbio Barilari and Julia A. Miller, who was also the album’s mastering engineer.

First we want to thank all of you for joining our mailing list! We have been working very hard to get our new songs to all of you. Covid did a number to all of us and we want you to know that we have all of you in our hearts. Our songs are from us to you with many more on the way. Delmark has some last minute changes to be made with our producer and the release will be this year! We are looking at October-November. We can't wait to get it out to all of you, then it's time for another. Our gigs have been pretty sparse this year, all of us miss playing and entertaining. We just wanted to send you an update on our new album. Our producer is in the process of mixing our 12 new songs! It's been a rough 2020 and looks like we're still not in the clear. We've worked all year in and out of the studio to give you one of our best albums. We hope to complete it within the next month. Stay safe everyone and keep us in mind because your always on ours!

We just wanted to reach out to all of you during this difficult time in all our lives. Many of us are out of work and hitting hard times not only financially but also physically. We want to offer our music as a place of refuge, a place to forget and to think about other times in our lives. We will be giving free downloads on a rotation of different songs; There is no answer for any of us, but to stay safe in your homes and just ride it out. All of us hope that within some time, hopefully this summer we will be through all of this, the sun will shine and all will be well in the world!
