About 10 years ago I uploaded all of my music compositions onto the web site myspace who About 10 years ago I uploaded all of my compositions onto the web site myspace who when rejigging their site lost the whole lot irretrievably. At the same time my lap top failed with a non functioning hard disc. All my music files were lost. Some years later , I came across an old cassette tape which on playing I found a big proportion of my music was there. So I made a copy of the tape, fortunately for me, because the next time I played it, the tape was drawn into the mechanism of the tape player and mangled beyond repair. Thank goodness I had made a copy as from this copy comes the music you hear today. All my music files are now backed up in the cloud and safely stored on CD. So we live and learn.
