Lament at the Gate of Tehran

I was fast asleep one night when I dreamt the main theme of the lament. I got up at 2 in the morning and wrote down this theme on manuscript and from this the work Lament at the Gate of Tehran developed. The Lament on N1M is the second half of the piece as the file size of the complete work is too large to upload. The story behind the Lament. It is the time of the Iran Iraq war, and two war widows each from opposing sides happen to meet at the Gate of Tehran Not surprisingly each widows lament is exactly the same . The center section is a short Hymn for peace followed by the second widows lament leading into the final section called Behold the Light ending on a note of triumph but the war drum marches on as if to say will they never learn

 :scream: :smirk:  :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: :rage: :disappointed: :sob: :kissing_heart:  :pensive: :confounded: :flushed: :relaxed: :mask:  :broken_heart: :expressionless:  :weary: :triumph:  :sleepy:
