David Vernon was born and raised in the heartland and has been enamored with the performing arts from an early age. Uniquely gifted as a singer, he has been performing since his early teens. He moved to The Big Apple in 2001 and began producing many pieces of work starting in 2005 with his night club show, “By Myself…” This show culminated into his first full length debut cd recording of the same title. David was a highly sought-after session singer for many New York City composers who were shopping their songs to Broadway producers and record labels. Continuing to produce records through collaborations with these composers, he has built an extensive recording collection, accessible through all major streaming platforms. His show, Broadway My Way, resulted in the coveted Bistro award for Best Male Vocalist.
David is currently signed with Sweet Rains Records LLC and is thrilled to be releasing their debut single, Heart On My Sleeve.
