Want an artist that can croon with the new flava. Davin is your man. In between the rhythms of soul, the insistent percussion of Soca and the oral tradition of Calypso lies Davin McLeod, a singer looking to meld the three musical styles that influenced his upbringing. Born to Trinbagonian parents, Davin was raised in New York and caught the singing bug at the age of three. The power of watching his aunt walk around the house singing gospel music created a foundation for him to walk on.

Davin continued to perform for the next few years until the pen took a hold of him and he wrote his first song, a collaboration with a friend who was impressed by Davin’s singing in church.

Influenced by the sounds of Frankie Lymon, Michael Jackson, Etta James, Stevie Wonder and Calypso/Soca artists Machel Montano and Xtatik, Davin continues his climb to show the world his many talents. Even though it’s been a long journey, he’s confident his uniqueness and passion will land him a place among those with great voices.
