D-prostylez was born and raised in Milwaukee,WI. Born demetri Carter at age 22 yrs old... d-prostylez is on the road towards success. At the age of 10 d-prostylez was in 5th grade at honey creek elementary school. In elementary school d-prostylez would participate in music class and plays...he started writing music in his room one day didn't take it serious at first because he wanted to become a football player and wrestler...he was inspired to do those by watching his favorite wrestler at the time dywane "the rock" Johnson. In 2010 when d-prostylez enter his sophomore year of high school he began to take his music more seriously. D-prostylez was introduced by a music producer and dj named dj pikulin. Dj pikulin seen a lot of talent in d-prostylez and wanted to work with him in Milwaukee. He seen how versatile d-prostylez was by doing music from pop R&b gospel bachata dancehall and much more. In 2011 d-prostylez performed live for the first time in front of a lot of people in the Latino unidos program in his senior year at Alexander Hamilton high school in Milwaukee,WI. D-prostylez performed his first ever single "put a lil kiss on it" as he performed his single ladies were singing his song the next week in school. D-prostylez was very proud to come out of his shell because he's a really shy and humble person. In 2011 d-prostylez had join forces with ahead of time music and flow films Inc. While working with them d-prostylez had his second performance in Waukegan,Illinois where he performed his second single "baby gurl" a bachata (expired link) opening up for freestyle dance legend George Lamond. Later that year d-prostylez performed at teo calis with aca el futuro aragon el brillante and izzaq y yemeni at the tu voto cuenta event performing his third single "club 8.0.9". Also in 2011 d-prostylez performed at the Latino family expo in Milwaukee,WI. 2012 was a big year for urban recording artist d-prostylez... he began to promote his own music through social media website from Facebook to Twitter and more. D-prostylez would promote from (expired link). to (expired link). in the morning non stop every minute barley sleeping and getting his rest...it just shows how humble and dedicated he is towards his music career. In 2012 d-prostylez was brought in a group called star vision music group by his best friend and singer also (expired link). He began to work on his next single which would be called "since when" prod by (expired link). Since when would become a hit single as many people would cry to that song... while other felt it because they went through it in life. In summer 2012 there would be a promotional music video for his hit song "since when" which was video directed by Angel pabon. Later that summer d-prostylez would be performing in shows every Friday and Saturday night in some of the Milwaukee Southside clubs with his music crew at the time. In fall 2013 d-prostylez began to work with dj and great friend dj dee one. Dj dee one began helping d-prostylez with his graphic designs photo shoots and more. This summer in July 2014 dj dee one will be working again with d-prostylez on his second music video. Also in 2013 d-prostylez performs again for the second time in the Latino family expo. In 2013 by summer d-prostylez took a long break from music to focus on himself and his family... d-prostylez began going back to church to seek the Lord and this time for good. As d-prostylez began to feel brand new again he began writing music again to inspire those to never give up on something you love so much. D-prostylez wants people to hear the truth through his music and to make others smile. 2014 d-prostylez plans on releasing an EP of 6 songs from pop R&b and bachata... all songs will be produced by omi Kennedy. D-prostylez is of native American and Dominican descent mix with black Irish European asian jamaican and many more. Also in 2013 d-prostylez became number one on both the Latin and R&b charts here in Milwaukee,WI following his interview with mixtape gods and interview with emurge magazine. D-prostylez's goal is to become successful in all his brand and to inspire and help those in need by giving back to kids with cancer and donating money to different charities and going around the world to help people out in missionary work.
