You "feel" the song, then you get creative, and then the song fights for its own sound and voice. Usually, don't know if this is this way with most of you, I have a riff and then just starting flowing forward and backwards till something clicks. Then I layer it and go again. I have seen me go into the zone and come out hours later, tired but happy. Content, till I play it back, then doing a little more editing, but too much and let it ride. Bottom line, I love music, even though I don't sing, I hear the words in my head on some of these songs. Thanks for listening, I appreciate that. Dean Russell
