Welcome to all of the new subscribers, and thanks so much to everyone for listening to my music. I'm trying to find my way on this new internet highway. I guess I'm always traveling some highway or another. I've just finished my CD "Highway in Your Eyes (musical memoirs)" and even have a few copies in hand. The CD release party will be at Caffe Lena in Saratoga Springs, NY on November 16th at 7 pm. It's a really wonderful and historic venue. I'm excited to be playing there with some of the people who played on the CD - all very talented musicians. I could never have done this project without my friends. From the concept of writing a memoir piece for each song, to the songs themselves, to the recording, to the memoir writing, then the idea of recording each of those as well instead of just having text online, to the video recording, to the artwork, photos and all the layout, everything was done with the help of friends. Isn't community great? I don't know what I would do without it. Now I have a double CD set with one disk of 11 songs and one of 11 memoirs. The CD will be available online very soon.
