Gillaz is a West Indian Deep House Music artist. During his early childhood, he discovered various musical genres, such as Funk, Disco or Dance music. Therefore, bands such as Boney M or Kool And The Gang highly influenced him and turned him into the artist he is today.
Zouk Music has also been part of his musical preferences as a Disc Jockey, but he quickly turned to the production of electronic music, highly inspired by artists such as David GUETTA, Bob SINCLAR, Erick MORILLO and Franck ROGER.

By the mid nineties, he came back to the continent, more precisely to France and London, where he discovered House Music nightclubs, from the East of France, to Paris. He spent lots of time in the most fashionable and inescapable nightclubs such as “Le Divan du Monde”, “La Loco”, and even “Le Bataclan”.
In 2000, he composed his very first piece, “Boréal”, which was well received by his relatives and friends. After this, he composed more tracks, during a trip to his native island, he met for the first time Etane CARTER, the electro reference DJ in Martinique.

This encounter will be a turning point for him, as it will encourage him to continue in this path. Indeed, Etane CARTER told Gillaz he had a real talent and particularly for the composition of Deep House music.

In 2007, Gillaz released his very first single House By Gillaz, which included the following titles: In my Life, and In my Life Remix. After this, a second single, House By Gillaz Volume 2, has been released. This single includes pieces such as Watch me, The Sun, and Give your Love. Both of these singles ave been well received by it's audience.

Since gillaz is endeavoring to compose and produce powerful and sunken titles!
