About Delta Savannah

Delta Savannah are a Black Country band performing orignal songs and covers. Chris and Vicky started out as Delta Savannah shortly after leaving college but, after difficulties finding the right musicians, began working instead on other music projects both together and solo. Then in 2012 they revived Delta Savannah and began writing new songs. They performed for a year as a duo and produced their first album of original material "Arcade" in September 2013. Shortly after they were joined by guitarist Den Payne and drummers Tony Smith and Dave Spittle. The band developed their live set and played until April 2014 when Vicky retired from the band to focus on being a mother. Richard Evans then joined the band on guitar and ukulele and the new line up worked on a new set with Chris on lead vocals. They continued to play live featuring in several gigs for the first Black Country Festival in July 2014 after which it was decided to call it a day. Their last gig was at the Red House Cone Museum in Stourbridge on 13th July 2013.

The band reunited in May 2015 for a one off performance at The Maverick in Dudley along with Vicky.
