Singer/composer/videographer Diana Barash is known for her sophisticated, deeply felt lyrics and passionate melodies. As world traveler she has been able to incorporate her musical experiences into an eclectic synthesis of sound. There are aspects of jazz, rock, R&B and classical as well as world music within her compositions. This makes them a delight to experience.

Diana’s most recent album, A Miracle Of Love, is considered a revelation. One woman – one song at a time – the album’s lofty objective through her unique lyrics and music is to accomplish her main intension of healing the world through music. Diana collaborated on several tracks with renowned jazz pianist and composer, Sunnie Paxson. Several compositions like “Save This World” can be enjoyed both as a vocals and instrumentals. Currently the album is available at various Internet music outlets.

Diana loves the entire sphere of creativity she is able to bring to composing, producing and even developing visual content. She has created videos for several of the album’s tracks.

“I love creating in the studio…laying instrument after instrument, then lead vocals, background and harmonies. It’s like magic. You start with a blank canvas and after some time, which can be hours and/or days, there’s a creation that you are in love with. The end result is incredibly gratifying,” Diana comments. “I approach my videos creations in a similar way.”

Much emphasis is put on Diana’s inspiring lyrics, which come straight from her heart with a unique wisdom and self-examination. They have a deep message that is not so easily found in today's pop world. Her lyrics are built upon her belief that each person has the power over their life and are the creator of that power.

Diana is currently in production of a new album. Highly anticipated, it will carry on her theme of positivity, love and ultimate hope for the future. She is also exploring composing for film and television.

Diana Barash was born in the Eastern European country of Mondolvia when it was a part of the Soviet Union. At the age of nine she moved with her family to Israel, where she began classical studies at a music conservatory. Her first instrument for studies was the piano. Although she will in no way be pigeonholed as a pianist, most of her composing is done on the instrument. By sixteen Diana was performing as a singer with a five-piece band at various venues. Following extensive travels, Diana moved to the United States.

Diana currently lives with her husband and daughter in the Los Angeles area. When not at work on her music, she enjoys art, fashion, photography, traveling and everything outdoors. She continues to be grateful for the wonderful gift of life and will search for life’s miracles every day.
