The song starts off with smooth vocals and great runs... Clearly, Andre knows how to utilize his range. The substance of the song is also deeper than a lot of the modern R&B tracks you will hear. Preaching monogamy and a partner that brings out the best aspects of him, the content is clearly directed towards a mutually loving relationship as opposed to the usual shallow sex-based tracks. Pretty cool, I think I gave you a four stars off top. I think the song is really good. I love the style it is song in, I think it's modern rhythm and blues. I almost thought it would be contemporary because I thought I heard an old school sample in the intro. I think the instrumental was awesome and the singing was incredible. Upon hearing the first notes, I honestly didn't know what to expect. Once Andre Starz starts singing though, my ears perked up and he earned my full attention. I actually love this song. It has a catchy hook and the artsit has an easy voice to listen to. With all that being said, The Realist by Andre Starz gets a 5 star banger rating from me.
