Gerald Thembeni Phili popularly known as Digital Jay was born in Marondera, Zimbabwe. Currently based in Cape Town, started his career in 2014 as a musician,composer and producer of his own rhythms whose first releases were in 2018 and he has worked for different South African and Zimbabwean labels such as Smart Sound Records and Danktivit Music base
