Hi everyone, I'd like to thank you all for signing up on my N1M list. It feels good to know that people actually enjoy the art that comes from this crazy obsession I was born with. I've been doing this for a very long time, and as many of you can attest to, it is something I can never stop. Song writing is more than a passion for me, and it's so rewarding to have your support. I'd love to tell you that I'll be coming to perform in a town near you soon, but the truth is, I stopped performing several years ago. I'm not sure if it's a common thing, but as I got older, I started realizing that I would never be able to shake, what felt to me to be debilitating stage fright. As a front man, and a professional, it wasn't something that people could see, but inside the fear of judgement and rejection for the music that I created and loved as much as one would love their child, was turning me into a person that i didn't want to be. I have never done this for fame, recognition, or glory in the first place, so writing and recording is what I do, and what I will continue to do. I believe that we all have a trail to leave in this life. Something indelible. Some evidence that we were here. Music, to me is a critical part of our lives, and a way to communicate with each other on a purely emotional level. My ambition with music is only that it connects with people in a way that a close friend validates your heart and values your contribution to their own life. I hope you all get a chance to listen the entirety of my new album "die this way". There is a lot of my heart in it, as I wrote these songs after the death of my lifelong music partner and collaborator John Veneziano.
