FIRST REVIEW FOR THIS TEXAS OUTFIT AND THIS TRACK HAS A LOT OF BLUES INFLUENCES AND A SOME GOOD PRODUCTION ON THIS SONG ALTHOUGH WITH SUCH A STRONG CHORUS IT WOULD BE MY SUGGESTION TO START WITH THE CHORUS RATHER THAN TAKE A LONG SLOW BUILD UP WHICH KEEPS THE LISTENER WAITING TO SING ALONG TOO FAR INTO THE TRACK I WOULD DOUBEL THE CHORUS WITH MORE GUITAR POWER CHORDS AND LEAVE THE FINGER PICKING FOR THE VERSES WITH THE GUITAR TO ADD NEEDED LIGHT AND SHADE AND GIVE MORE DYNAMIC EFFECT

A very interesting mixture of styles here, and a well produced piece of Music. Even the bass is very present on my poor Laptop speakers. In some moments, the energy of a metal band is shining through, but you kept it well under control. Your style is unique, I cannot recall having heard a band that sounds similar, at least not in combination with a female voice. What I particularly like is that you kept the verses rather clean. Every instrument is just doing the absolutely necessary and not more. This creates a stunning contrast to the full and energetic chorus. Bad Company were known for this attitude, and being compared with them means that you are in GOOD company!

Distant Sun Rising review

Beautiful song, the voice and instruments sound great, but if you'd want to spot a thing to improve I'd recommend looking for some more melody, especially on choruses, simple songwriting rules use the hook that the crowd can sing along to the melody that once heard hops into your ear and brain and you sing it for a whole day or week like a zombie, I know that's more challenging that may seem but great songs great melodies I wish you'll find those

"Angel in Your Bed" - Distant Sun Rising

An unexpected beginning of the intro... a few notes... You delicately and smoothly fit into the atmospheric rock song. And that vocal... Really, really good. She reminds me of Annie Lennox from Eurythmics. Epic blues guitar solos. Stronger rock accents make this composition great, you could feel goose bumps... This is what music is all about, to achieve incredible expression. Hats off - Distant Sun Rising makes music with a capital M. I wish them all the best. Greetings, Maciej ATRAPA

All in sensuality

A good sound, a good rhythm that makes you want to dance. I'm not talking about the guitar presence which suits me perfectly, I'm a guitarist. And to finish, a warm, sensual voice. In short, a treat to listen to.

Nice and smooth

Productions is good. I like the timber of the instrumentation. Voice is solid and on point. Sweet too. Nice bridge twist. Guitar solo sounds good with alot of feel. The track isn't long either which makes it a nice listen.

Distant Rising Sun's "Angel In Your Bed"

Upon your very first listen to Distant Rising Sun's fabulous "Angel In Your Bed" - you cannot help but to be deeply impressed by the composition, performance and production values. While Distant Rising Sun's influences may be fairly evident, there is also a striking originality and personality to the music. I am very mush looking forward to what the future holds for Distant Rising Sun!

5 out of 5.

This song has a grace nice thick bass lines with infectious grooves. With a sexy, female vocals, I’m already in love with the track with melodies from the guitar that sets up A seductive atmosphere. I’ll give this song a five out of five. It has a good independent sounding production. I wish people would make more songs like this for radio. The league guitar scream excellence. I highly recommend this track.

Nice Groove

Thanks for asking me to review your new track. I always like to mention that this is just one guys personal opinion. I have found over the years, that opinions can vary pretty drastically, especially if you are playing it for someone that does not have an appreciation for your genre. I dig the groove and the bass line carries the track quite nicely. It's got a really cool jazzy-bluesy groove with rock sensibilities bringing it all together. The solo is well done and the production is pretty good as well. Not totally sold on the vocals. Keep rocking guys!

Angel in your bed review

Let's start by saying it's a really good "in your face" mix... I like that. All the instruments are right out there to hear clearly and your vocals cut through as well. Well done on the production. Coming out of Round Rock, I appreciate country, of course, but have written a lot of rock as well. So, I'd be interested to hear the rock you do up there in San Antonio. Keep writing and singing with that great voice. We need more coming out of Texas!

Angel Is Sultry

One of the things I enjoy most about Number One Music artists is the newfound ability to hear music from around the world by singers who I'd never have the chance to listen to otherwise. That, in itself, is a great thing. Here, with this song the strong guitar and bass intro are a great Southern Rock feel and when the singer breathily comes into the scene, it's like a warm blanket wrapping you up on a cold winter night. The electronic guitar is the cracking fire in the fireplace to make it complete. Silky. Smooth. Angelic...

Angel In Your Bed

The entry just shows the good production and the skills of the band. Lively bass, soul driven voice, rhythmically very routined, athmospheric details by the guitar. The duet between the voice and the guitar, well, they seem to steal each other the show...then a rocky bridge and the climax, the chorus, catchy and full of athmosphere. The solo seemed a bit stale at the beginning, but well, it is played well, sticks in well, just a more flamboyant melody was lacking for me. Overall a solid song, production and overall execution is professional. Just work on a few details mentioned above...but hey, maybe with the second and the third listening they fit in better, who knows...keep it up. Greetings !
