To blow out its 20 candles, Djangophil gathers its tribe to offer you a disc around the compositions of Django. A Gypsy hymn (The Black Eyes) and 12 compositions which revisits the "tubes" (Clouds, Djangology, Minor blues, Place de brouckere, Double scotch, Festival 48, Duke and dukie,) and the rarer pieces (Rythme Futur, diminishing, impromptu,, anouman, saint germain des Prés,…) on a red thread that follows Django's career from 1937 to 1953.
20 years ... a human adventure at the service of the Djangophil scene, it is the allias and the project of Jean-Michel "Bib" Bourdier which gathers around him a loyal team to bring to life different facets of the style.

About djangophil
bib bourdier Son of a musician, he grew up cradled between his father's banjo and accordion. My maternal grandmother was a weiss (original name Gypsy) predestined name.
In 1981, he began his career in Hard-Rock and Metal styles. Curious about all styles, He practices classical guitar and is interested in Jazz, Fusion and Flamenco.
In 1994, after a session with ROMANE, he decided to immerse himself in the music of Django Reinhardt and he took jazz lessons, notably with Pascal Rauzet, professor at CIAM in Bordeaux then with (expired link). MOKA.
In 1997, he founded the first duo Gipsy Jazz then created Djangophil in 2000, while following lessons with Christophe Lartilleux (leader of the Latcho Drom group).
Will follow many concerts and the recording of 10 CDs of covers and personal compositions.
