Clarke, C. Boozer, better known by his DJ alias Boozadelic, started his career as a DJ while he was just a freshman in high school at the age of 15. Because of his deep and abiding passion for music, he was inevitably drawn to the field of music composition.
In 1978, he began his career in the entertainment industry working as a roadie alongside an older buddy and classmate who owned a mobile DJ operation.

Within the first couple of months of working with the mobile DJ team, Boozadelic took his first step behind the decks. Boozadelic, who was known for his quick learning, was blending funk and R&B music at high school dances and private parties.


As soon as he enrolled in college, he began working at the college radio station, 88.7 FM KBVR, where he played jazz and reggae music. He eventually became the program director for funk music after working his way up through the ranks. Following his graduation from college, he and a friend from his time in high school established their own mobile DJ firm under the name C&D productions.
His DJ resume includes working as a DJ for a private party for the late Kevin Duckworth, who played for the Portland Trail Blazers in the NBA. He also worked as a DJ for local reggae artists at Stage 722 in Portland, Oregon.

DJ Boozadelic is known for playing music from a variety of genres, such as dancehall, reggae, hip hop, funk, R&B House, Reggaeton, lounge music, and disco and house music from the 1970s and 1980s. Moombathon can also be heard spinning records on several platforms.
