Hope everyone is doing well! Just a quick update regarding my music on iTunes. I'll be taking it down on March 7th. Why? Because, unfortunately, it costs money to keep music available for digital purchase and they have not sold nearly as well as I had hoped. At this point, it will cost me more than they're making me and that's just bad business. For those that have purchased them, many thanks for showing your support! It is immensely appreciated. It has been some time since last we spoke, my friends. I am sure you've had a lot going on, as have I. Let us pick up where we left off...

I promised a buyable version of The Truffle Shuffle last time and I have not delivered that to you. I am sorry for that. The reason is that I haven't even touched my production computer in a long, long time. I haven't had the desire to make anything new, much less mess with something old. I am going to be very frank with you now... It is because I haven't gotten anything in return. My production career has been like a toxic relationship where one person gives and gives and gives while the other takes and takes and doesn't even show the slightest bit of appreciation. As a producer I am utterly drained and spent. I have no music in my soul to share anymore because, like love, it must be reciprocated so that it feels wanted and appreciated and wants to get more of that so it grows and grows to keep giving so that it keeps getting. In short, my music has died. Or at the very least is hiding somewhere that I cannot find it.

So this is going to be my last message for awhile, maybe forever. If my soul finds the music again, you'll be the first to know. In the interim, be good to yourself and to others.

You asked and I found a way!

After my last message I was inundated with replies from folks wanting to buy my CD (they still make those?!?!), wanting to know when my album would be released, wanting to buy my songs on iTunes and also a few random questions (my favorite candy is chocolate. I'm a simple guy.) Well, it took a lot of jumping through hoops and email exchanges and teeth pulling, but I got it done. Who knew that each retailer had their own criteria for releases? I sure as hell didn't. That being said, you can now find two of my songs on iTunes, Amazon, Xbox Music and other digital music retailers. Just search for me, DJ Caibel, and you should get "Azucar" and "Your Body" in the results. Each track is just $0.99 USD, so get them both for less than $2! OH YEAH! WOOO!

Now, I did have a lot of people ask about "The Truffle Shuffle" and here's the story on that one... I'm having a hard time getting a timely reply from the studio that released "The Goonies", which is the film that a short audio sample is used at the end of the track. So, instead of waiting for them to pull their heads out of their nether region, I'm going to go back and remove that sample from the song and get started on releasing that one for you guys. Cool? Good.

First off, my sincerest apologies for being (expired link). for so long. I've been swamped with gigs, contests, remixes and tons of other stuff. I'll do better to stay in touch with all of you from here on out.

That being said....

What in the Hell have YOU been up to? Hmmmmmmmm?????

As stated previously, I've been up to my balls in projects and gigs and other stuff. I'm currently working on a few official remixes, they may never see the light of day though, and some new originals. I'll post the originals in my store for purchase. I may also design some new shirts and other merch for you guys because I have had some requests for such. Ask and ye may receive!

Anyways, keep an eye out for new shit and, as always, feedback is gladly accepted.
