Decided to do something that seems fun. I would like to do a Q&A in the Ask Me Anything style. So why did I use both Q&A and AMA if they are pretty much the same thing. Well in my view, Q&A's can screen their questions. They can pick which ones to answer and which to ignore. In AMA I feel that the person doing it is confident enough to answer what ever is asked. So that's what I am doing. Whatever you want to ask me, feel to ask me and I will post all questions and answers in the next newsletter. Have fun!

Hi Everyone!

Wow! 2018 has been a crazy year. I know I said I would put out new music and the year is halfway done. I did put up a new mix. Working on another as we speak.

But what has kept me away for so long? Well first I got insanely busy at my day job. Didn't have the energy to put into making new mixes, but I still kept a list of songs I want to mix and will knock that out as I go. Also the death Avicii hit me real hard. Have my own special connection with his music and hearing of his passing really impacted the world. Also got a girlfriend who I spent most of my time with. But we split recently to pursue other endeavors in our personal lives, so that opened up a lot more of my free time now that things are slowing down just a bit.

What's next? Well, first thing I want to mention is due to its popularity "Me & The Rhythm" is available for free download right now! This is to test how well all of you and other listeners are interested in downloading my mixes to play whenever you want. If it does well with number of downloads then future mixes will be available to download from the moment they are released. Right now it is solely based on popularity and it is the only song people have been mentioning.

Next, I was picked up to work on a movie that will be coming out in October of this year. I will be doing behind the scenes work for it and that has eaten up a lot of my time. Also got a few more video and film gigs in the queue which will take me away from this for a bit as well. But I will do my best to still do mixes when I can and upload them when I can.

One person asked about purchasing an album and merch from me, unfortunately I do not have an interest in doing an album. Yes I do put album names that the mixes are on, but those are personal albums so I can have a physical copy of the mixes as a back up. Merch would be cool to have for all of you to buy, but I do this as a hobby, so money isn't my goal at all for my mixes. Just the fun of making them and getting lost in them is enough for me. I love knowing that they now exist in this world and cure that itch that i have for those certain songs.

So after fighting with the uploader for awhile I finally got a new track uploaded. It's called "Quiet Hello (Afternoon Sun Mix)". An instrumental I feel in love with and just had to make it longer. Couldn't get enough of this track when I was mixing it and sometimes I didn't even want it to end.

I mixed this when I was living in LA and it captured just about everything i loved about the city. It was great for am afternoon car ride in the valley or along the coast. Good for a walk around the Grove. Good for getting lost in the lights of Universal City Walk. Even made walking down Hollywood Blvd and Sunset Ave a lot better. Now that I'm back home in Texas, it just takes me back there for a few moments.

I hope many of you fall in love with it as I have. I hope it makes you all have wonderful memories that you can just go back to when you hear it again a few years down the road.

Thank you all for your kind words and support. It was by chance I found this site and posted a few songs from when I first started getting good at mixing. The support is nothing that I would have expected from all of you. I haven't been posting much because work has been crazy and I usually like to mix songs that just hit me with inspiration. I hate to force creativity. I have find a few songs I am working on currently, but they do take time to get right. I do plan on posting new music in 2018. Not sure how many new songs will be posted but new music is coming.

Some of you have asked about putting my songs for sale. While I do appreciate you willing to invest in my music, I really don't want to do this for the money. Music has been a passion of mine all my life and I have been mixing music for 13 years now. I have always stuck by the motto of "if you want it to exist in this world, create it", so I've made the mixes I would like to hear.
