Hi Guys and Girls,
Another month gone ! I know i keep repeating myself but thank you one and all for you're interest in my music.
Something i want to bring up, i recently produced a two minute piece titled 'They Call You', i put it forward for review which it is now getting. I chose to categorise it as Film and Soundtrack, some of the reviewers, in fact most of them don't realise the track was specifically made for Film and Advertising purposes, it was never meant to be a full on Trance or EDM piece. A few people thought it was too short at two minutes, actually its too long for the intended purpose and probably could do with a cut into it at around 1 minute and even then it may be too long for certain projects.
I also agree with a few of the reviewers that the track could expand into a full blown piece of lets say around six to seven minutes long complete with percussion and all the other trimmings i usually put into a track. But it is what it is, to showcase that i can indeed write music for film and advertising. So, if you are reviewing this track please bare in mind what it was written for and review accordingly ;-)
