Firstly let me thank all of you for continuing to subscribe to my alter ego DJ Michael Angello and his music.
Last month i told all of you i had colon cancer and was undergoing treatment for it, i am seven sessions through the planned twelve sessions of chemotherapy and the last session i had some great news that the Cat Scan showed all clear. Sigh of relief but the nagging feeling that once its been there it can always come back.
Anyway, I have had so many of you ask where you can buy my music from, the truth is if you googled DJ Michael Angello you would find many places to buy from. However, you can always buy music direct from me, just send me an email to john @ dj michael a n g e l l o . c o m and let me know which track or tracks you want, i will for one dollar per track send you a Wave file and an MP3 320 of the track or tracks you want.
Please note i have had to stagger my email address because it only appears as a link to my website if i don't. My website is completely out of date due to me not having the time because of my illness. however i will get to it eventually. I am sure you can fill in the dots for yourself or even message me here on N1M
A Wave file is best quality and an MP3 320 is more than you want or need to play a great quality sound through your system.
You will find quite a few new tracks i have uploaded to N1M, i say new but actually i have a lot of tracks which are quite old, which i will continue to post on my profile. Some may seem dated but i always say there is music out there which is timeless and i have produced a lot of that.

Hi Guys and Girls,

Some of you will be new here and some of you will be old hands as it were.
For the last eight months i have been battling with colon cancer, having had three operations in October/November which very nearly turned out fatal i am now having chemo. That's the short story without the frills ;-)
This has had a major effect on my music creativity for the time being, however if i used all the emotions i have endured over the last eight months i could possibly write an albums worth of music, and in due course i probably will. When i have the energy to do it of course, not right now.
Whilst i was in hospital during October November last year facebook saw fit to delete my private account which had a knock on effect of all my music accounts being deleted too. My crime according to facebook spamming in October. I don't spam people, you guys should know that by now ;-) I write here about once a year. I wrote to facebook saying that was an impossibility, in fact three times i wrote to them. All without a reply an apology and reinstatement of my accounts. I had over six and a half thousand followers on my DJ Michael Angello Music page, all gone along with 460 personal followers on my private account. Not going to cry about it, it's done. I just wanted to put it out there and do a bit of explaining about why i haven't written to anyone here in a year or so.
I wish you the very best, please continue to support my music here and i will get to producing some new material soon ;-)

Fly Away

Hi Everyone,

Its a fine line between nuisance and communication, i have never liked to inundate people with messages, but i also know some people who are following your music want to know whats happening. As you may have seen i have uploaded quite a few new tracks over the last three months. They seem to be popular.
Some news i can give you, my contract with Australia record label SJE Records ran out at the end of last year. I am not quite sure if i want to be tied to another three year contract and at the moment i am a free agent. If you are a label and would like to release any of my music feel free to get in touch, i am always willing to do a one off if any track catches your ears.
I have my inspirational times and then the not so inspired moments which can go on for weeks. With no deadlines to meet anymore i can go at my own pace which suits me fine at the moment.
I just want to thank everyone who supports me and my work and you can rest assured there will be some more trippy fayre to savour soon.

I hope you have all had a great holiday, i have ;-) I wish each and every one of you the very best for 2017.
I've had some great messages from some of you who have listened to my work, a lot of them had the words fresh sounds, different. Yes, my sounds are very different from what you would immediately associate 'Trance' with, and the thing is i always try and mix in such a way that all the sounds are discernible from each other and not compressed almost out of existence.
Its going to be a very busy year for me this year, i have a very special project i want to complete, and once it is done you guys here will be the first to hear it.
I came across an old link from my old record label, you might want to check it out. You will find some tracks on this album you will have never heard. I hope some of you have some cash left to buy it ;-)
Please keep spreading the name of DJ Michael Angello, i know some of you have been referred to my page and i love to hear that.

Hi Guys/Girls.

Just want to thank you for your support. Thanks to those who have given some fantastic reviews for my work. I want to ask all of you to spread the word about DJ Michael Angello because there is nothing i would like more than to come and play at a venue near you and i can only do that if there was going to be enough people wanting to see and hear that.
I have put a couple of new tracks on my profile here, one of them is a piece called 'Movement'. This track was so named because of its continual movement. I usually start a piece without anything specific in my mind and during the production stage i always get a name for the piece, its as if it tells me what its called ;-) Strange hey ;-).
I wish each and every one of you a Merry Christmas and a safe and happy New year.
With any luck at all i will be here next year rolling out some very special sounds.

Yeah, I'm late again in getting in touch with you guys, but i want to say thank you to all of you, old and new subscribers. I have just been going through some older messages from some of you, brought a smile to my face. It would,seem that my music has touched some of you in a very profound way. It makes me very happy.
As some of you will know i have recently added a few new tracks and a couple of older tracks i did a long time ago, namely 'Beyond The Gates', both the Instrumental and the vocal versions. Both those tracks seem to be very popular with some of you guys and girls which just goes to show, although they sound dated to me they sound fresh to you. Some music is just timeless i guess.
I am waiting to find some inspiration again, so for the time being music production is slow with me.

Hi Everyone,

Some of you might have felt my absence over the last nine months, until lately i have been completely uninspired with music, both producing it and promoting it. This happens with me from time to time, until something inspires me and then its full throttle again. My inspiration this time was actually one of my own tracks, 'Beyond The Gates' Especially the vocal version featuring DJ Keri USA. This track is a very old production of mine, one which i had lost the project files for in fact. I had wanted to revisit the track and alter many things throughout, but having lost the files for it i only had a wave file i created of the track to work with. So, there are elements of it which i would have loved to work on, you may possibly pick them out as you listen, but there are also very inspirational elements within, especially to me personally.
In any event i worked on it with what i had, the original WAV file and i am happy that i have something positive out of it.
I am starting to work more on film and advertising tracks, the last piece i worked on in that genre/vein has become very popular, i am talking about 'They Call You' a two minute piece specifically made for film tv and advertising.

Just want to thank you all for supporting my work, please tell a friend about it, insist DJ's play it ;-) But most of all immerse yourselves in it .

Another year and another shot at going for your dreams, as you do and as you should ;-) I( wish each and every one of you all the luck in the world.
Early this year i was contacted by Stuart Cheese from One Night Stand music to tell me that one of my tracks had been picked out to go into a film which was being made by an Oscar nominated actor, it turned out they wanted a track which i knew was going to be a problem because i had fallen out with the record label exec who owned they lyrics i had used for the track. However i thought that with such a major happening the rift could be healed between us. I was wrong, the guy who owns the record label and the rights to the lyrics vocalised by Rebecca Louise Burch was such a pig head he couldn't see the woods for the trees ! He refused to let the track be used and cost everyone including himself massive exposure.
So just remember, there are people out there who will do anything to make you fail, they will even cut off their own nose to spite their face. Rise above them ;-)

Hi Everyone, old and new subscribers.

I teamed up with a fellow UK DJ about a month ago, JohnnyR and we did a back to back one hour Trance Mix, i will put a link for the FREE download at the bottom of this note to you all.
I have been slow in producing another track but i have almost got another one finished, it will be here soon so look out for it.
Once again i thank each and everyone of you for taking the time to listen to my creations, i hope you keep on coming back for more and i also hope you spread the word about DJ Michael Angello, i would love to come and do a live show near you sometime and the only way i can do that is to be able to fill a venue, you are the people that can help. Hi Guys and Girls,

Another month gone ! I know i keep repeating myself but thank you one and all for you're interest in my music.
Something i want to bring up, i recently produced a two minute piece titled 'They Call You', i put it forward for review which it is now getting. I chose to categorise it as Film and Soundtrack, some of the reviewers, in fact most of them don't realise the track was specifically made for Film and Advertising purposes, it was never meant to be a full on Trance or EDM piece. A few people thought it was too short at two minutes, actually its too long for the intended purpose and probably could do with a cut into it at around 1 minute and even then it may be too long for certain projects.
I also agree with a few of the reviewers that the track could expand into a full blown piece of lets say around six to seven minutes long complete with percussion and all the other trimmings i usually put into a track. But it is what it is, to showcase that i can indeed write music for film and advertising. So, if you are reviewing this track please bare in mind what it was written for and review accordingly ;-)
I am attaching the track to this message, if you play it you will know exactly where i am coming from ;-)

Hi Everyone,

It's been a couple of months since i last posted any updates about what i have been up too. I hope your last couple have months have been productive and that you've had some happy and fun times. I am not sure if any of you guys out there are producing music, and if there are i hope you are producing your music for you. In the past i have had comments about how far removed i am with my style and production of Trance music, and why don't i produce something sounding more like what is out there. What they don't know is that i don't produce music to compete with anyone, i don't want to sound like every other Trance producer out there, what would the point of that be. I am unique, you are unique, don't follow the sheep, be you ! So, everything you hear from me is me, you'll either love it or hate it but if you like music, real music with flow and melody, and forget the genre for a moment here, you will like what i do.
We all evolve over time, i am evolving and when i look at what i am producing now as to what i was producing a couple of years ago i can see a massive change. I hope all of you can evolve into the best that you can be at whatever you do.
I am going to leave you with a track i have recently uploaded called 'Only You' i think it captures the changing emotions one feels when thinking about his or her loved one. I intend getting this track vocalised with a powerful female voice to complete the marriage of music and vocalisation. I hope you enjoy the instrumental version.
