On fire tonight review by Ady of Magdalene's Revival

I suppose I'm going to have to follow suit with the comments already made by the other reviewers of this track, in that the track took too long to go somewhere, and the somewhere was kind of lacking. Plenty of vocal effects that weren't really necessary, and a distinct lack of constructive lyrics to make the song a club anthem. On the bright side, the production was really good.

Great dance song for the club Great intro and climax build for the hook Great arrangement instrumentally patience was the Key in this dance mix.

It takes a while for the track to begin.I suppose as it is a club mix it is supposed to be a little redundant, but I feel like the track is mostly building up to a climax that never arrives. The vocal gymnastics get rather irritating after a while. Keep the beat, perfect for today's club music.

On Fire Tonight

Okay - where do I start? The concept and idea is good - I just feel you did not finish this piece. First, I found the intro a bit long and tedious. Then, the rhythm stayed through-out without much change in the mix at all. The vocal is good, but redundant - too much echoing of the voice takes away from the music. I love to dance and found it did not inspire me to tap my foot to the music - unless you're a break-dancer. It has a lot of potential. Rework it and you'll have a winner!

Enjoyed how you slowly built the beat. Feel like you may need a heavier bass or element to match her vocals. If I want to hear this, I want to hear what elements you bring to compete with her voice, and less of her. All transitions were not crisp, some seem to be spot on. Some builds were longer than I tend to like, sometimes its great to surprise the listener and add jump into the next compilation of sounds, rather than build each one. Hear great potential all-in-all. Good work.

if anything in this production i would say too much time on the same theme.not enough variation for me .My honest opinion i think you may be out of your league in this genre. You could still hinge on this genre, but my opinion is, its good talent, spoiled by being on the wrong Train.I think you should cut more of a vocal effort, from what im hearing you have a decent marketable vocals there. However in saying this, it does have that club dance routine genre going for it.Have a great new year,G luck in the future .

On Fire Tonight Feat Paula terry (Club Mix) REVIEW

Over-usage of delay on many elements. It is to short for a club-mix and the start with only the bassline is not DJ-friendly. Synthline vanishes at the end abrupt. Sounds used are old-school. Maybe to re-arrange it for a radio mix.

i got to say i never really got into the whole club music scene but this kind of changed my perspective. i found that when i put this song on that all i wanted to do was dance. the way you broke down the components to show the building process was so on point and done very clean. the beat changes is really what made it for me, it kept me wanting to listen. the chops and builds were done smooth as if it was ease. i have nothing bad to say, bravo.

I have to be honest with you this is not a genre of music that I listen to so I can't say whether or not it has marketing potential.

I feel the beat need to have a up beat tempo to it if you are doing a club beat remix. It's like go go music. You need to visualize on how people can dance to it.

Great Track

Reminds me of early 2000 House Era. Something you can move too. The vocals seem to fit more to old school / freestyle then this track. There overall too strong of vocals for the beat. I would say run the vocals through some filters and try it that way. Right at 25 seconds all audio looses volume not all the way but enough to make me say whoa something isnt wrong. But overall it is a great track Funky but consistant!! I wouldnt mind trying this in the club. Might even throw it down this weekend and see how it plays out. Keep it up your on the right track!!! old school club track remind me of the 90's. simple but nice. only cons are The yamaha lately bass that has a little to much tale and the beat is a little simple the melody is also a bit simple IMO. But I can imagine that you are after that old school club sound in that case good job!

Nice funky beat, liked the lead in to the second set or intro. Deep and melodic female artists voice. Good dance music for club or party, consistent beat to get everyone on the dance floor. Professional sounding and positive fun lyrics. Nice length and lead out from the intense middle.
